It did not take long for the Internet to uncover some of the many secrets in “Grand Theft Auto V.” Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated game was just released, and fans have discovered a hidden message within the blueprint map, included in the special edition of “GTA V,” that can be viewed under a black light.
Reddit user November17R3 provided the photos that led to the “GTA V” easter egg. According to the user, the blueprint map of Los Santos and Blaine County contains instructions to bring $500,000. According to users, the message reads, “T.P.E – Trevor Philips Enterprises. Weaponry, narcotics, intimidation and casual wear. Lago Zan Cudo. Great Ocean, Highway north, through north Chumash, 0.5 miles past Raton Canyon. When guard rail ends, follow the dirt road down the docks. Bring $500,000 cash.” But the search by users has turned up no results.

Capcom has released three multiplayer map packs as DLC for Lost Planet 3. The content was previously available only as pre-order bonus, but now can be found in the XBLM. Each pack contains two maps.
Map Pack 1 – $4.99
Octagon: In Octagon, NEVEC and the Snow Pirates fight for control over an underground military base. NEVEC must stop the Snow Pirates from sabotaging the secret Akrid testing being done in the nesting rooms. Close quarter combat will have each side fighting for control in deadly circumstances.
Spire: In Spire, NEVEC and Snow Pirates fight for dominance over a key strategic location high above the ground. Seize each control point to exert dominance. Vital Suits are key in this large, open area. Use them to exert power over the other team and face off against the opposing teams Vital Suits in epic battles.
Map Pack 2 – $4.99
Synapse: In Synapse, NEVEC and Snow Pirates have traveled deep into the Nushi interior to come face to face with something never seen before. Fight the large Akrid to take the Thermal Energy canister back to your extraction point. Prevent the opposing team from doing so, or suffer bitter loss.
Inferno: In Inferno, NEVEC and Snow Pirates fight in a hectic, vertical area located in Pickett’s Folly. Danger comes in every facet. Obtain the scattered Thermal Energy and secure it for your team. Prevent the opposing team from doing so by using any means necessary. Grappling and zip line usage are key to winning. Just watch out for the lava.
Map Pack 3 – $4.99
Convoy Chasm: In Convoy Chasm, NEVEC is escorting a battle cat through a mountain pass, carrying vital secrets. As the Snow Pirates learn about this, they ambush the Convoy in the pass. Prevent NEVEC from getting through the Chasm as the Snow Pirates. As NEVEC, get through at all costs. With verticality playing a key role, use whatever means necessary to help your team succeed.
Siege: In Siege, NEVEC and Snow Pirates fight over a military base key to NEVEC’s military operations. As Snow Pirates, break in at all costs, secure the Pure Thermal Energy and get out of there using the air transport as quickly as possible. As NEVEC, prevent the Snow Pirates from their smash and grab tactics and secure the base.

Five playable characters for multiplayer modes: Grace Peyton, Phil Braddock, Jenette Diaz, the Lost Contractor, LP1 Gale Holden, HUNK
Punisher Pack – $2.99
Incinerator (Particle Thrower Variant): This improved version delivers greater range and damage than its predecessor, but with less accuracy and a tendency to overheat rapidly. The particle beam can set targets on fire.
NEVEC Punisher (Pulse Rifle): A NEVEC military division pulse rifle that sends out bursts of fire at an extremely fast pace.
Spit-Fire (Grenade Launcher Variant): This modified grenade launcher shoots out Fire Wasp “projectiles” instead of grenades as its default ammo type. These also cause splash damage on impact.

Digital goods research firm Superdata today revealed its projections for the success of that effort, saying it expects Take-Two to bring in $206 million of additional digital sales in the game’s first 12 months.
About $165 million of that total is expected to be taken up by downloadable content packs. While Rockstar hasn’t fully detailed its DLC strategy yet, Superdata’s figure assumed two add-on releases within the next year. The remaining $41 million will be accounted for by microtransactions, sales of virtual currency that can be used to purchase new equipment within the game.
Over an expected five-year lifespan, GTA V was projected to bring in $93 million in microtransactions, and $344 million for DLC purchases for a digital sales of secondary content total of $437 million. While considerable, it would still fall far short of the game’s retail haul. Take-Two confirmed that GTA V generated more than $1 billion in sales in its first three days on sale.
Superdata noted that the microtransaction model is still unproven for major retail releases, and said the player base for GTA V may still be unfamiliar with the practice. Additionally, because the microtransactions will be optional tools to speed up progress rather than hard and fast roadblocks to progress, Superdata expects a smaller percentage of players will wind up being converted to purchasing customers than would be seen in a typical free-to-play hit.
„This isn’t the game’s next billion dollars, as some have supposed microtransactions will make Take-Two,“ Superdata said, adding, „It is, however, a successful foray into the microtransaction world for a console title. Games like Borderlands 2, though with an admittedly smaller player base, saw just over $10M in total digital content revenues in its first year.“

Yesterday the open beta for Battlefield 4 was released and, as expected, the game has some bugs. DICE has used the official forum to make a list of known issues so they can fix them all before the game gets released.

– We have received reports of Freezes and Crashes affecting the BF4 Beta client. Our team is currently investigating this matter and we will update you here as soon as we know more.
– If you are affected by a Freeze or a Crash upon joining a game, and the error message “BF4 Beta has stopped working” appears, please make sure your Windows is fully updated and your Graphic card is running on its latest driver. Alternatively, some players using GeForce drivers were able to fix this by downgrading their driver to an earlier version.
– We received report of unusually low performances, and are currently looking into that as well.
– Please note that the Battlefield 4 Beta does not support Win32 and 32 Bit operating systems.
– Video settings may not be saved after rebooting the game.
– The tooltip “E” to enter the Venom is visible at a 400 meter distance.Xbox 360

Grand Theft Auto Online launches to widespread issues. Rockstar says is working to fix things…
Grand Theft Auto Online, the MMO component of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5, launched today, and as expected, it has faced teething problems due to significant demand, with many players struggling to connect and take part in the game.
Well, in addition to those issues, a „small“ -but growing- percentage of users are claiming that they also end up with corrupt or damaged save files that affect their story mode progress.
As reported by CVG:
Game journalist Chris Schilling commented on Twitter: „So GTA Online isn’t working for me and it’s corrupted my single player save. Excellent.“
For now, Rockstar has acknowledged some of the problems surrounding GTA Online’s launch, and confirmed that it’s working to resolve them:

It’s coming, it’s coming! Rockstar has confirmed that the services for GTA Online on GTA V will be active starting at 12pm GMT (1 pm in Europe), 4am Pacific and 7am Eastern. The activation will require a small title update on your platform.
According to Rockstar’s Newswire:
Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with your copy of Grand Theft Auto V.
On October 1st there will be a small downloadable Title Update released on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Upon installation of that Title Update, direct access to begin GTA Online will be unlocked in your GTAV game menu. You will be able to jump right into GTA Online via the 4th (bottom) slot in your GTAV character wheel.
We’ve received many questions asking for a specific confirmation of what exact time GTA Online will be available but of course this is contingent on both Title Updates becoming available on each console’s network.
As a general timeframe, we do expect the Title Update to become available on PSN and Xbox LIVE starting around 7AM ET tomorrow morning, and your best bet is to stay tuned throughout the day here at the Rockstar Newswire and by following us on Twitter and Facebook where we will be keeping everyone updated.

Gestern ging ein besonderes Highlight der Game City über die Bühne: Der allererste Xbox / EA FIFA 14 Cup powered by Libro! Der Ansturm zur Teilnahme bei Xbox und Libro war riesig, 32 begeisterte FIFA-Spieler hatten am Ende das Glück vor Ort an der Qualifikation teilnehmen zu dürfen. Kein Wunder, dass der Andrang enorm war, denn der Gewinner des Turniers darf sich über eine brandneue Xbox One inklusive FIFA 14 freuen! Das Finale wurde von Frenkie Schinkels kommentiert und von Fußballtalente von SK Rapid besucht.
Gemeinsam mit EA Sports veranstaltete Xbox das allererste FIFA 14-Turnier auf der Game City. Insgesamt 32 talentierte FIFA-Spieler haben am Nachmittag am Xbox Stand die Qualifikations-Runde bestritten. Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. veröffentlicht Details zu weiteren, in PES 2014 enthaltenen offiziellen Lizenzen. Das Spiel ist ab sofort für PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® und Windows PC erhältlich und bietet eine Vielzahl von Teams und Wettbewerben.
KONAMIs Ziel ist es, so viele offiziell lizenzierte Klubs und Elemente wie möglich in die Serie zu integrieren. So ist dieses Jahr die AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Champions League mit allen 32 Teams der zehn teilnehmenden Länder voll lizenziert ins Spiel integriert. Die AFC Champions League ist innerhalb eines eigenen Modus spielbar und komplementiert damit die exklusiv in PES 2014 enthaltenen UEFA Champions League und UEFA Europa League Wettbewerbe. KONAMI sicherte sich zudem die Lizenz der Argentinian Football Association: 20 AFA Primera División Mannschaften finden sich demzufolge im Spiel. Auch der südamerikanische Copa Libertadores Wettbewerb ist wieder exklusiv dabei.
Mit den neuen Abkommen ergänzt PES 2014 sein bestehendes, eindrucksvolles Line Up an Teams. Erneut im Spiel enthalten sind zudem voll lizenzierte Klubs der Top-Ligen aus Italien, Spanien, Frankreich, Holland, Brasilien, Chile, Latein Amerika sowie Asien. Ergänzend wurden individuelle Lizenz-Abkommen mit Klubs beispielsweise für den UEFA Champions League Modus geschlossen; so mit Bayern München, Schalke 04, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Manchester United, ZSKA Moskau, Kopenhagen, Galatasaray, Benfica, Porto, Celtic, RSC Anderlecht, Zenit St. Petersburg, Olympiacos Piraeus und Shakhtar Donetsk.
PES 2014 bietet zudem eine Vielzahl von offiziell nachgebildeten Nationalmannschaften, darunter die wichtigsten europäischen Landes-Teams wie Deutschland, England, Spanien, Portugal, Frankreich und Italien. Ebenso ist eine Vielzahl von Nationalmannschaften aus Asien, Afrika und Südamerika in den neuen Titel integriert.
PES 2014 ist erhältlich für PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® und Windows PC.

Upon starting up FIFA 14 for the first time you’ll notice a title update will be made available. The update addresses stability issues found in the closed beta and minor fixes to a couple game mode (Skill Games, Creation Centre) items. Please, if you haven’t done so already, be sure to restart and download the title update in an active session as this will enhance stability when matching up with other players online who have accepted the update.
Our commitment to improve FIFA 14 is on-going, and regular feedback from our fans helps us prioritize and identify future improvements. We wanted to take this opportunity to address a few more items that we continue to work towards. Firstly, we got some great feedback on gameplay during the demo and early access period, including:

Xbox One: Erstmals in Österreich
Am 22. Auch heuer freuen sich Disney und Xbox ankündigen zu dürfen, dass Uli Schröder exklusiv am Xbox Stand Stellung beziehen wird, um allen Fans Disney-Figuren zu zeichnen. Ein Besuch beim Disney-Zeichner, um sich – vollkommen kostenlos – ein Wunschbild abzuholen, ist für viele schon zum Fix-Punkt der Game City geworden. Xbox 360 owners of PES 2014 have encountered issues with the game’s day-one multiplayer patch, rendering the update void, or unable to install.
Others have complained they can’t get online at all…
Before modes such as Friendly Match Lobby, Ranking Match and Master League Online can be played on the Xbox 360 version, players have to download two updates. The first is a small day-one patch that upgrades the game to version 1.01.
The second, which is causing issues, is a Data Pack that must be downloaded from the game’s Information menu to ensure all online players are using the same up-to-date data.
But players are reporting that this Data Pack takes an extended period of time to fully download, and when completed it brings up an error message during the install.
Fans of the game on the PESFan forum have been expressing their displeasure at their inability to download the Data Pack and play online.
„Took a chance on PES 2014 this year upon hearing it’s improved etc. and finally giving FIFA a run for its money,“ one user posted.
„Half a day later of downloading failed patches I’ve still not had a match. Will be returning to store later today for refund.“
Konami has since flagged up a solution posted by the community, which involves inserting the Data Pack manually using PC software and a USB stick. You can find the details of the workaround HERE (but it’s still recommended players instead wait for Konami to fix the issue to avoid complications).
Konami had previously announced that a second PES 2014 patch would be coming „in the weeks after the initial launch“ that would add further multiplayer modes.
