2014 Happy new year!! It’s been a while

that’s awful.Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it.It’s the first time I use Lego to make a stop motion.
Godzilla’s 2014 reboot retells the origin of the monster in modern times as a „terrifying force of nature“. It’s being directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.
Here’s what The Independent has to say: „Perhaps taking a lesson from JJ Abrams successful monster film Cloverfield, it is not until the end that the creature is revealed to the viewer, and even then it is obscured by a dust cloud. From the trailer it appears that this incarnation of the Godzilla will rely more on psychological horror and strong character-driven plots rather than special effects and action alone.“

You may remember a year or so back when a deep-sea salvage company discovered something odd at the bottom of the Baltic sea. The team from OceanX jokingly described the object as a UFO, but once the story went viral, many commented on the fact that it kind of looked like the Millennium Falcon. Using side-scan sonar, the object was discovered to be 60 meters in diameter, with a “rigid tail 400 meters long.” Earlier this month divers descended the nearly 300 feet below the surface to photograph the anomaly, and despite a first-hand look and bringing up samples for analysis, they have returned with more questions than answers. You can watch a news report with footage and photos of the expedition below, unfortunately all in Swedish.

Still have a morning ritual of drinking a few cups of Joe? Well, researchers at Mid Sweden University compared the effects of caffeine and blue light on the brain and found them both to have a positive effect. Here’s the kicker, people who were exposed to blue light performed better on tests of brain function that included a distraction.
Here’s what one researcher has to say: „The same distraction, however, proved too much for caffeine users, who performed poorly. Blue light and caffeine demonstrated distinct effects on aspects of psychomotor function. The study builds on research that suggests blue light can improve cognitive abilities such as memory, alertness and reaction time. Although harmless to tissue, blue light is strong enough to trigger biological effects in the body, and it’s being used increasingly for a range of medical treatments.“

You read that right, researchers at the National University of Singapore have created a ‚digital lollipop‘ that utilizes electric currents to transmit virtual tastes straight to your tastebuds. The machine is similar to the fictional Everlasting Gobstopper in which it never runs out, and also the Chewing Gum Meal, which had several different flavors packed into one piece of gum.
All of the four major taste groups – sweet, salty, bitter and sour – can be recreated through a silver electrode which makes contact with the tongue.
Nimesha Ranasinghe, who was the lead researcher on the project, told New Scientist magazine: „We have found noninvasive electrical and thermal stimulation of the tip of the tongue successfully generates the primary taste sensations.“ The Daily Mail would like to add that „the invention is relatively crude at the moment, but there are hopes to make it small enough that users can almost wholly close their mouth while using it.“

Scientists have observed the largest and brightest cosmic explosion ever.
Astronomers have called the gamma ray burst ‚the monster‘ because it created five times more energy than the largest, captured 3.7 billion light years away. This single burst created five times more energy than the largest previously-known blast and if it had been closer to Earth, our planet could have been destroyed.
Here’s what The Daily Mail has to report: „The burst is said to have flooded Nasa monitoring instruments with five times the energy of its nearest competitor, a 1999 blast, said University of Alabama at Huntsville astrophysicist Rob Preece, author of one of the studies. It started with a star that had 20 to 30 times the mass of our sun but was only a couple of times wider, meaning it was incredibly dense.
With barely enough Pokémon to fill half a „normal“ generation, I thought finding a handful of weird and creepy Pokédex entries from Kalos would be tough.

Ever since we heard about the Xbox One’s HDMI input feature—which is intended to route HDMI devices like a cable box through it and „snap“ to that program—I’ve been excited to put it to the test. Could we play another Xbox One through an Xbox One?
What about an Xbox 360 hooked into an Xbox One which is itself hooked up to a second Xbox One? Xbox Inception?
Originally from Kotaku:
You can play one through the other! Now, you wouldn’t want to play Saint’s Row IV through three consoles. Trust us. There’s lag. We’re also not sure it all looks quite as nice. But for now we’re just having fun. And, remember, Microsoft doesn’t officially push the Xbox One as a machine that should be used for chaining game consoles. Consider this just a parlor trick.
Because of the PS4’s HDCP encryption, you actually can’t play Killzone on Xbox One (for now)

A new iPhone 6 „Air“ concept emerged online and included Moto G’s new customizable feature.
The new concept image is created by brightknight08. The iPhone 6 „Air“ features an all-new design with aiPad Air-like body and has customizable colours. There are new buttons as well, including a backlit proximity sensor in place of the home button and a silent button featured at the top that also functions as the iPhone’s power button. Moreover, brightknight08 packs a 4.6 inch Full HD screen display with 450 ppi in the iPhone 6 „Air“.
The newly released Moto G also boasts customizable feature that allows users to change the colours of the handset. Moto G turned the heads of many consumers as the smartphone costs $179 for its 8GB variant.
According to the latest rumours, the upcoming iPhone 6 features may include a solar wireless charging feature. One of the most common complaints on iPhones is fast depleting battery capacity. This feature aims to provide solution to the said problem.
This feature is supported by a patent filed by Apple back in February. Apple secured a patent for the use of solar panels in portable devices. This integrated touch sensor and solar assembly would involve integrating social cells into a touch screen by using electrodes that can pull double duty as a solar cell and a touch sensor.
Another rumoured feature that is making the rounds is the use of an extremely strong Sapphire glass for the smartphone’s screen display. Apple already used the technology on the cover of iPhone 5S and Touch ID home button. Sapphire glass is roughly 2.5 times stronger than the glass currently used in smartphones, many of which use Gorilla Glass from Corning.
Rumours claimed iPhone 6 will come with larger screen display with a range of 4.8 to 6 inches. Many analysts predicted that Apple will finally pack a bigger screen on the iPhone 6. Also, the next Apple flagship smartphone may keep the iPhone 5S‘ 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor. The next generation of iPhone may also include features Near Field Communication and larger internal storage that were skipped in the current handset.
iPhone 6 release date is still unconfirmed. There were speculations that the unveiling will happen early next year. However, reports claimed that Apple is adding more suppliers to increase the availability of iPhone 5S due to its strong demand.

The Soviet Union built a reusable space craft named Buran more advanced (both in terms of reliability and payload capability) than the Space Shuttle. The craft was launched oncewithout any crew and the program was canceled at the collapse of the Soviet Union.

On 12 May 2002, a hangar housing Buran collapsed during a massive storm in Kazakhstan, as a result of poor maintenance. The collapse killed eight workers and destroyed the craft.
