    Amazon promo: ‚Buy 2, Get 1 Free‘ on select PS4 titles

    Amazon decided to kick off its own PlayStation 4 games promotion in order to match the one from Target.

    The special ‚Buy 2 Get 1 Free‘ deal on PS4 titles starts at 9 AM (PST), 12 PM (EST) on Tuesday, 11/12/13.” Supplies are limited.

    Sadly, this promo is -apparently- exclusive to America and Germany, according to this tweetfrom game journalist David Scammell (so, no, Amazon UK won’t be offering it).





    Here’s the info:

    Moreover, the retailer confirmed the promotion is valid for a limited time only, so customers should also decide which backup games that should get in case their favorite ones sold out too fast.

    In order to take advantage of the offer, Amazon customers will have to add three items from the list of eligible games to their cart and apply the GR8TNESS claim code at checkout. This way they will get 3 games for the price of 2.

    Keep in mind that the “buy 2, get 1 free” promotion only applies to items sold and shipped by Amazon, so other sellers do not qualify for the offer. The following games are eligible with this promotion and can be ordered by customers beginning November 12:

    • Angry Birds: Star Wars – PlayStation 4;
    • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – PlayStation 4;
    • Battlefield 4 – PlayStation 4;
    • Call of Duty: Ghosts – PlayStation 4;

    Customers will not be able to purchase multiple copies of the same title, as Amazon announced each title is limited to 1 per customer, so the 3 games in the cart must be 3 different titles in order for the promotion to apply.

    Last but not least, as most gamers probably noticed already, the list only contains “launch-day” titles, the promotion does not apply to “non-launch” titles, such as Destiny or Infamous.

    Ladies and gentleman, this is a good one. It seems that Blizzard is in the earliest stages of looking into the possibility of supporting Vita Remote Play for the PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3.

    Julie Humphreys, Diablo 3 console senior producer unveiled at BlizzCon 2013 that Blizzard is considering the feature at the moment.

    “One of the really cool features that comes built-in with the PS4 is this concept of remote play, so you can stream the gameplay that is happening on the PS4 over to your Vita screen. That is something we are looking into,” she said.

    “I would say we are in the earliest stages of looking at that. We want to make sure that it is readable and is a good user experience.”

    Although PlayStation 4 will support up to 2,000 friends when it launches Nov. 15, PlayStation 3 will only be able to support 100 friends visible in its XMB interface. If you amass a friends list that tops 100, Sony’s network servers will automatically filter your list on PS3. You’ll also be able to set a PS3-specific friends list for the console.

    „Support for the ability to display all of your friends in most applications and games is planned, however, some titles will be limited to the current 100 Friends limit,“ U.K. community manager Owen wrote in the forums.

    Sony Computer Entertainment America has revealed the line-up of digital entertainment apps that will be available for PlayStation 4 on launch day, November 15 (North America).

    The video you just saw has been captured from a multiplayer match on “The Park,” which is situated firmly behind enemy lines near the Visari tribute statue.

    As you can probably tell from the footage, Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer outputs at a native 1080p, rendering uncapped but always targeting 60 FPS. We’re very pleased with how well the game runs, and we can’t wait for you to play it come November 15th.
