Fortnite v7.40 Update Patch Notes – Gifting Returns Alongside a Rather Novel LTM

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Fortnite v7.40 update is out in the wild on all major platforms, bringing with it the standard treasure trove of gameplay improvements along with some shiny new content.

However, in what is a slight departure from the norm, developer Epic Games also has a special surprise for fans.
Anyone who completes 13 Overtime challenges between now and the 27th February will receive the forthcoming Season 8 Battle Pass completely free.

This grants players automatic access to two exclusive outfits, and up to five more for those who complete the associated challenges. A rather apt promotion, really, given today’s date.

Fortnite v7.40 Update – Battle Royale

Anyway, as far as today’s update concerns Battle Royale, there’s a fair amount going on.

First and foremost, Epic has instituted a brand-new LTM titled Catch! In this rather novel mode, all guns have been removed, leaving players with nothing but grenades and other types of throwable at their disposal.

Gifting returns for a limited time between now and the 22nd February, too. And promises to to help celebrate Valentine’s Day by allowing players to send the Heartspan Glider to one another free of charge until tomorrow.

Additionally, the Infantry Rifle makes its way to the vanilla version of Battle Royale. Alongside a number of changes to existing weapons, the most notable of which sees the Bush consumable given a defensive overhaul – in as much as it can now absorb one instance of damage before it’s destroyed.

    Fortnite v7.40 Update – Creative

The biggest change to Fortnite Creative, meanwhile, sees the introduction of two new features: prop resizing and the music sequencer. A rather useful pair of tools that should make it easier than ever before to tinker with your creations.

Elsewhere, Epic has added a new victory condition (Collect Items) to the current list of options, along with two supplementary game options (Join in Progress and Autostart), scoring conditions (the Collect Item Score and Elimination Score Presets), and another batch of prefabs (including Obstacle Course and Arctic Base).

Lastly for Fortnite Creative, Epic has brought back Cupid’s Crossbow for a limited time. Available in Epic rarity, Cupid’s Crossbow deals 79 body and 197 headshot damage, and comes equipped with an infinite supply of bolts.

Fortnite v7.40 Update – Save the World

As always, the arrival of the latest Frostnite Weekly Challenge is the most significant as far as Save the World Players are concerned. This week, it’s number seven, Top It Off.

The storm collapses much faster and deals an increased amount of damage in Top It Off, making it vitally important players keep their burners going for as long as possible. However, with increased challenge comes even greater rewards.

Those who manage to survive for longer than 30 minutes will be rewarded with Love Ranger Jonesy and 1500 Gold, while those who do so on three separate occasions will earn the Week 7 Challenge banner.

Outside of the Weekly Challenge, Save the World receives a brand-new weapon in the form of the Yeoman Sniper Rifle and a returning favourite, the Dragon Fist.

For more information on everything included in this article, as well as a detailed breakdown of the numerous tweaks and gameplay enhancements implemented across the board in today’s patch, head over to the Epic Games Website.

  • ‘Borderlands 3’ Or New ‘BioShock’ Likely Releasing Within The Next 12 Months

‘Borderlands 3’ Or New ‘BioShock’ Likely Releasing Within The Next 12 Months

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

During its quarterly earnings call this week, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that it’s big secret game coming out of 2K Games is still on schedule to release before the end of March 2020.

So, what is the game? Well for awhile now it’s been believed to be Borderlands 3, which is backed up by a lot of semi-collaborating evidence. However, some think the secret project is actually referring to a new BioShock, which is also said to be in development.

Unfortunately, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick didn’t divulge any further details on the project that shed light on what game it could be, but he did note that in addition to being on track, Take-Two has “very high expectations” for it.

It’s worth noting that it may not be either of these games, but looking at 2K’s library, I don’t see how it could be any game but these two. It’s certainly not another Mafia. And I don’t think another XCOM is on the agenda for the next 12 months either. Plus I don’t think either of these games would drive Take-Two to have very high expectations, especially not XCOM.

Given that there’s been numerous teases and leaks of Borderlands 3 for awhile now, it’s almost certainly the post-apocalyptic game. And this means we probably won’t be getting another BioShock for quite some time, possibly not even before 2021.

    0COMMENTS

Alas, at this point all we can do is speculate. Everyone and their mother’s dog thinks its Borderlands 3, and their probably right. But I’m sure BioShock fans aren’t ready to quite give up on the idea that it may just be a new BioShock we’re getting. I know I’d personally prefer the latter, and given all the controversy surrounding Borderlands and Gearbox recently, I wouldn’t be too surprised if Take-Two also wishes it was BioShock and more Big Daddys.

Anyway, as always, feel free to leave a comment letting us know what you think or hit me up on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know there. What secret game do you think Take-Two is planning on releasing in the next 12 months? What game would prefer it be?

  • ‘Anthem’ Runs Better on PS4 Pro Than Xbox One X

‘Anthem’ Runs Better on PS4 Pro Than Xbox One X

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

If you’re torn about whether you should pick up Anthem on PS4 Pro or Xbox One X, the former is probably the better bet.

As you may remember, when Anthem was first revealed a couple years ago, it was demonstrated via the Xbox One X. And of course, some took this to believe that the Xbox One and Xbox One X versions of the game would get some type of speciality treatment. However, that assumption was wrong.

The tech gurus over at Digital Foundry recently gave the demo a spin to test run the BioWare game on different platforms. And what Digital Foundry found was that, well, for one, the game doesn’t exactly run super well on consoles, but also that it runs better on PS4 Pro than Xbox One X, despite the latter being more powerful.
    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdr1DWvt31c]

According to the outlet, on both consoles the game supports “4K” running at a native resolution of (roughly) 1800p. Of course, both games are using a type of checkerboard rendering in order to hit this. So, in terms of resolution, there’s not much to split the two premium consoles.

However, on the performance side of things the Xbox One X loses some ground. According to the the Digital Foundry video, the PS4 Pro has an unlocked framerate that moves between 25-35fps. Meanwhile, the Xbox One X oddly has a ceiling of 30fps, and can actually even drop below 20fps during more demanding parts of the game. It’s a quite noticeable drop, actually, and I’m not even a framerate savant like many are.

The PS4 Pro also has more flexible options if you want to emphasize performance over resolution. With the Sony system, you can drop the resolution to 1080p, which in turns allows you to run at 40-50fps. The Xbox One X does not offer this option.

Broadly speaking, Anthem, especially at certain times, is a gorgeous game, but it also seemingly doesn’t hum like other games do, especially on the premium consoles, which is a bit disappointing considering how good its E3 2017 reveal looked on Xbox One X.

Anthem is poised to release on February 22 via the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At the moment of publishing, there’s been no word of a Nintendo Switch port.

  • GTA 6 Is Expected to Have a Female Protagonist and Could Come to Mobile Devices

GTA 6 Is Expected to Have a Female Protagonist and Could Come to Mobile Devices

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

The latest title of the popular GTA series developed by Rockstar was released almost six years ago, back in 2013, but it still continues to be a huge success. Now, fans think that it’s time for a new game soon and they are impatiently waiting for some news from the company, as we haven’t had any official details from the studio until now.

GTA 6 will have a mobile version as well

GTA 6 is expected to be released before 2021 or 2022, or maybe even earlier, who knows? At the moment we know that the publishers will want to release this upcoming game on two different consoles, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

The good news is that the much-awaited title of the popular GTA series is believed to also become available for mobile devices, for both iOS and Android systems. By the time we reach the year 2020, we should already have more advanced smartphones, and the concept of foldable displays will most certainly not sound as strange as it does now anymore.

As far as the version for the PC is concerned, we haven’t heard any discussions about this until the present time, but it will most likely get released at a later time, similarly to how it happened with GTA 5.

Upcoming GTA title might have a female protagonist

For quite a long time we’ve seen only male protagonists in the GTA titles, but it seems that Rockstar is considering bringing a female lead as the main character in the next title of the GTA series. According to the rumors that we’ve heard so far, we could see at least one female protagonist and two male leads in GTA 6. We cannot wait to find out more about the studio’s plans – hopefully soon.

GTA Online now has futuristic laser guns because bullets are so 2018

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

New year, new ways to reduce your Los Santos enemies to piles of carbonised bone. The latest update to GTA Online brings with it the Unholy Hellbringer and Widowmaker – “exclusive Republican Space Ranger Edition weapons” that can be purchased at in-game Ammu-Nation stores.

It’s hard to believe that you need any other incentives to drop into GTA Online this week, as if a gun that spits “molten chunks of Second Amendment” wasn’t enough, but there are also a bunch of discounts to take advantage of. These include 35% off Biker Businesses, 30% of Facilities, and 35% off vehicles like the Mammoth Hydra, the Nagasaki Shotaro and the Weeny Issi Classic. Biker Business Sales are paying out double cash too, so now’s the time to grow your criminal portfolio.

If you’re looking for XP rather than inventory, it’s double in-game earnings and RP on the Arena War Series, as well as the Hasta La Vista, Vehicle Vendetta and Vespucci Job vehicle-based competitive modes. Bomb Ball started before Christmas, and if you haven’t checked it out yet think of it as soccer, just without “all those fussy technicalities and restrictions on violence.” Instead of worrying about being offside, you just do your best to blow up the other team.

“In The Vespucci Job, you’re either the lunatic in the Issi Classic trying to hit every checkpoint in time — or you’re a squad car right behind,” says Rockstar, while in Hasta La Vista “truckers in big rig cabs hunt down a team of cyclists.”

The bonuses will be in place until January 14.

  • GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto 6): Everything We Know So Far and You Should Too

GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto 6): Everything We Know So Far and You Should Too

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

Grand Theft Auto V was one of the greatest events in gaming history, with the game itself raking in billions of dollars in sales alone, when it surfaced 5 years ago. Rockstar Games’ critically acclaimed venture quickly acquired a massive fan-base and became one of the best-selling games of all time. So, after 11 stand-alone titles and four expansion packs, when Rockstar announced GTA Online, diehard fans of the series were already desperate for information regarding GTA 6.

With the massive success of Red Dead Redemption 2 which came out on October 26th, Rockstar Games seem to have set their sights on continuing the GTA franchise, with the next installment codenamed “Project Americas.”

According to a source, GTA VI is likely to be set in Vice City, a fictional version of South Florida, which fans of the series are already familiar. Some rumors also suggest that the map could cover the entirety of the United States. On the other hand, Rockstar Games sources indicate that London is the only non-US location to be whispered as a potential GTA setting. Whatever the map turns out to be, one thing is for sure; it is going to absolutely enormous.

Even though there are no concrete reports yet, Rockstar co-founder and lead writer Dan Houser said in an interview with The Guardian back in 2013 –

“In the future, could we do a game with a female lead? Of course. We just haven’t found the right game for it yet, but it’s one of the things that we always think about.”

Rumors of a female protagonist are super exciting, but there’s more. Leading Rockstar’s list for playing said hero is Hollywood actress Eva Mendez. Fans have long hoped for a female lead in a Grand Theft Auto game, and it would be a wonderful change from all the ‘fridged’ characters we’ve seen so far. There’s a lot of speculation about whether there will be one main character, multiple characters like we saw in GTA V or even options to play as a cop or a criminal. Unfortunately, we won’t know anything for certain until an official game announcement is made.

Another GTA VI prediction involved full support for virtual reality and based on multiple sources; you may be able to play the entirety of GTA VI in VR. However, we think that fast-paced and action-packed sequences in long sessions would be quite testing on most stomachs when played in VR (at least in its present form). Unless we come across significant improvements in VR technology that makes playing games much more comfortable for longer durations, the possibilities of VR used with titles like GTA are quite low.

Specific VR headsets have not been mentioned, but since this is based entirely on speculation, we decided it is better to wait for more concrete details rather than pursuing the prospect of Grand Theft Auto in VR.

    Release date

In a recent interview with GQ, Dan Houser curbed the dream of GTA VI arriving early by saying he was “thankful” not to be releasing the next GTA title in the time of Donald Trump. The current political climate in the US, thus, seems to be a significant factor in deciding the release of GTA VI. Some reports suggest that fans might have to wait until 2020 before seeing another Grand Theft Auto. What we do know, however, is that ideas are being thrown around for development, even if it’s just in the early stages.

With no comment from Rockstar, these rumors remain nothing more than, well, rumors. Thus, without any official confirmation, all the details mentioned above should be taken with a pinch of salt.

  • The PS5 vs Xbox Two Battle Could Be Over Before It Even Started

The PS5 vs Xbox Two Battle Could Be Over Before It Even Started

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

Just when it appeared Sony already had the next-gen console war won with its PS5 console, which seems set for a surprise Christmas 2019 release, a Microsoft tipster has revealed how Xbox is primed to outmanoeuvre the new PlayStation with an Xbox Scarlett three-console combo of blows designed to beat it into market submission.

The move, which could be seen as a direct riposte to the rumoured covert operation being run by Sony to release the PS5 in 2019, rather than in 2021 as it first indicated, will see not only a direct Xbox Two flagship competitor go toe-to-toe with the PlayStation 5, but also two other consoles as well, with the first arriving next year (and potentially before the PlayStation 5).

According to respected Microsoft commentator Paul Thurrot, the three new consoles in the Xbox Scarlett portfolio are codenamed Anaconda, Lockhart and Maverick, and are broken down like this:

    • Scarlett Pro (Anaconda) – Referred to as “Scarlett Pro” inside Microsoft, this is the new flagship follow-up to the Xbox One X. It will “set the benchmark for console gaming” and will almost certainly be a 4K, 60fps powerhouse at the very least. It will specialise at running the best Xbox games with incredibly high resolutions, frame rates and physics settings. The devkit for Anaconda is codenamed “Danta”.
    • Scarlett Arcade (Lockhart) – Referred to as “Scarlett Arcade” inside Microsoft, this will be the next-generation version of the Xbox One S, meaning that it will be a powerful gaming console with the same strong multimedia capabilities, however it will not quite have the same processing power and graphical grunt as the Scarlett Pro.
    • Maverick – This is the completely new streaming-focused Xbox console set to arrive next year that will not have an optical disc drive. This console is being designed to run the next edition of Microsoft’s cloud platform, which is codenamed “Anthem V2”. The system will be cheaper than both Anaconda and Lockhart.

As such, while Sony’s PS5 console currently looks like it is going to be a PS5 games-playing behemoth, with happy PlayStation gamers crowing come Christmas 2019 thanks to insane graphics tech, a smorgasbord of killer features, and an in-built Xbox Live-killing super weapon, it might actually be a short-lived period of dominance, with the PlayStation 5 soon surrounded by a trio of powerful Xbox consoles that can deliver both superb native gaming experiences running off local hardware, as well high-fidelity cloud-streamed gaming experiences, too.

Only time will tell who will win the next-generation console war. But this development, if it proves accurate, shows one thing is for certain – it looks like gamers the world over are going to come out on top, with a broad selection of next-gen consoles on offer at a variety of price points on which they can play their favourite games.

  • GTA 6 Report: Is It A PS4 Game Or PS5?

GTA 6 Report: Is It A PS4 Game Or PS5?

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) was a massive success. The game received outstanding reviews from critics and players alike.

Seeing what Rockstar did with RDR2, fans have high expectations for the Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). Moreover, many believe that the company is already working on it.

But there’s one question that’s been plaguing its fans: Will GTA 6 be for the PS4 and Xbox One or for the next-gen hardware (PS5 and Xbox Two)?

    Coming In 2021 or 2022?

According to a report, the GTA 6 is reportedly set to launch in 2021 or 2022 which is bad news for PS4 and Xbox One owners.

Assuming that GTA 6 is indeed launching in 2021 or 2022, then it seems more likely that it will be a PS5 and Xbox Two game. Why? This is because both next-gen gaming consoles are reportedly going to be released in 2020 – well, to be exact, 2020 is the most popular speculated release date.

But Is It Really Launching In 2021 or 2022?

One of the reasons why there’s an expectation that the GTA 6 could be a PS4 game is because the GTA 4 was released in April 2008, while GTA 5 was released in September 2013, making it a 5-year gap. So people were expecting the GTA 6 to be released this year.

But after seeing the release of RDR2 this year followed by its online version – Red Dead Online, a 2018 announcement/release for the GTA 6 seems highly unlikely. In fact, there are reports expecting the game could come in 2019 instead.

However, back in October, Rockstar Games’ co-founder Dan Houser spoke with GQ-Magazine. On the interview, Dan expressed his relief that GTA 6 wasn’t happening during Trump’s divided America. Currently, in the US, topics like social issues, politics, and cultural stereotypes are very sensitive subjects to talk about. And considering the nature of Grand Theft Auto titles which is filled with offensive themes, jokes, and vice, it won’t sit well. This in return led reports to speculate that GTA 6 will be released after Trump’s term which will end in January 2021.

And even before this interview, there was already reputable industry analyst Michael Pachter predicting that a 2020 announcement with a 2021 release would be the best case scenario.  Meanwhile, a 2021 announcement with a 2022 release or later would be more likely.

As you can see, it’s a rumors/speculation game regarding the GTA 6’s release date – one side is saying one thing, while another side is saying another thing. All we can do right now is wait for official announcements.

But what do you think? Is GTA 6 coming next year or in 2021/2022? Tell us in the comment section below.

    Sony Teases 2019 Announcements

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

With The Game Awards 2018 come and gone, it’s time to evaluate the performances of all the different players at the event.

Sadly, Sony didn’t have the role many thought it would have after cancelling PlayStation Experience 2018 and skipping E3 2019.

No new games were announced, and we didn’t have trailers nor release dates/windows for exclusives such as Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams.

Anyway, it looks like the Japanese platform owner is still in a good mood and wants to tease something about its lineup for the coming year.

On Twitter, SIE North America and Worldwide Studios president Shawn Layden has answered a fan’s question on the state of the lineup, hinting at announcements coming in 2019.

“See you in the new year,” Layden simply said, which is a good teaser of things to come in a matter of few months.

It remains to be seen whether he means things like look at the games we’ve already announced to be coming in 2019, like Days Gone, Dreams, Concrete Genie or wait for more about Death Stranding and the others.

Rumors claim there’s a chance that PS5 could be revealed as early as next year, and with it those exclusive could be getting cross-gen releases.

That would make quite the announcement, although it’s just rumors and the most likely PlayStation 5 release window remains 2020.

Jak and Daxter games get limited physical release on PS4

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Jak and Daxter PlayStation 2 games are being reprinted on disc — as PlayStation 4 releases — by boutique publisher Limited Run Games. The first, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, goes on sale today in extremely limited quantities.

The publisher’s re-release of Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter games will be physical discs that play those PS2 games on a PS4. Limited Run Games opened sales earlier today. Only 7,500 copies will be printed: 2,500 collector’s editions and 5,000 standard editions. It’s an unusual move, but one clearly aimed at collectors and hardcore Jak and Daxter fans, based on the collector’s edition contents.

From the PlayStation Blog: “Each game’s Collector’s Edition will include a special item that ties into the game. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy will include a decorative metal Orb, a USB drive shaped like a memory card, trading card pack, exclusive poster, and a CD soundtrack. This will mark the very first time the Jak and Daxter soundtracks will be released! Additionally, each Collector’s Edition will include a piece of history from the series. We’ve secured never-before-seen historical documents to include in each of the Collector’s Editions. For each game, we will be producing a hardback foil-stamped book containing images from Naughty Dog’s original Jak and Daxter production binders. These binders dive into the world and characters in a depth fans have never seen before and offer a glimpse into how the games were formed.

Limited Run says it will release the other games in the series — Jak 2Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing — by June 2019. And for fans who purchase all four games, Limited Run, Sony and Naughty Dog will release a “mock case” for Jak 4, a game that does not exist but was in development at one point. That Jak 4 “release” will include a nice, exclusive bonus: “The mock case will include a code redeemable for a PlayStation 4 system theme based on Naughty Dog’s original late-00’s Jak 4 concept art. There will be no other way to acquire this item outside of this, so make sure to order all four of our releases if you want to own it. Fans who purchase all four games will be mailed the Jak 4 mock case after June 30, 2019.

Sony released the four Jak and Daxter games for PS4 as downloadable PS2 Classics last year. Those re-releases up-rezzed the original games to 1080p, and included PS4 features such as PlayStation Network trophies, Share Play and Remote Play.

Can’t wait to get a look at PS5 graphics? You’re not alone. A lot of gamers have been asking a lot of questions about the specs and capabilities of the PlayStation 5. So far, Sony has not offered a lot of answers. But now, we may have just gotten a look at what we can expect as far as graphical capabilities — and it is pretty impressive.

According to a report, during the Inter BEE (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) 2018 event in Tokyo, visitors got to see something rather tantalizing. The event is basically like CES (Consumer Electronics Show) but focuses more on professional equipment used in the video production industry.

On the event, the ultra-high-end CLEDIS (Crystal LED Display System) was featured. It’s a massive 440-inch screen with a near-180 degree viewing angle capable of 8K video output at 120FPS.

There, a 12-second stunning Grand Turismo 8K/120FPS footage was featured on the massive screen. This is the clip that was shown.

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwqB2uxEY4k]

The report notes that watching this YouTube video compared to watching it on the CLEDIS offers two different experiences. Only watching it at the CLEDIS will you get to see the stunning visuals.

But What Does This Video Got To Do With The PS5?

Well, Gran Turismo creator and Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi made an interesting comment last year. During an interview, the CEO said that the assets that are being created for GT Sport are over-specced even for the PS4 Pro and thinks that it won’t be a problem to run it at 8K.

“It takes six months to create a single car. It’s over-specced for PS4 Pro. So we are building for future versions of the console rather than the one we see today. I think it would be no problem to run it at 8K even.”

Xbox Two “Scarlett” Coming In November 2020, Will Cost Around $500, Amazing Lineup Of Games

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Xbox Two reportedly codenamed as “Scarlett” or “Scarlet” is expected to be this next big console from Microsoft to rival against Sony’s upcoming next-gen hardware. With that, both the gaming community and tech enthusiasts alike are all excited for Microsoft’s future console and are wondering about its release date, price tag, specs, and features.

So When Is It Coming Out?

First revealed by Thurrott, the Xbox Two Scarlett is reportedly going to be released in 2020. Meanwhile, one article even speculates that it could be released on November 15, 2020, or perhaps sooner.

Coincidentally, this is the same year that Sony’s PlayStation 5 (PS5) is also expected to be released. Sure, there were also reports suggesting that it could be released in 2019, while back in May, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Tsuyoshi Kodera stated that it would be another three years before PlayStation made its next big move, which means that the PS5 won’t arrive until at least 2021 – Segment Next even reported that it could be in March. But despite all that, the most popular belief is that the PS5 is estimated to come in 2020.

So What Will Be Its Price Tag?

According to a report from Dexerto, the Xbox Two is estimated to feature a similar price tag of the PS5. The next-gen Sony hardware is rumored to feature a price tag of $500.

So What Will Be Its Specs?

Again from Dexerto, given that the Xbox Two expected to rival the PS5, it is expected to at least carry the same capabilities. Apparently, Sony’s next-gen hardware will have the power to run 4K/60fps.

It Will Have A Lineup Of Amazing Games?

Last week, YouTuber boogie2988 shared a rumor regarding the Xbox Two’s games. The YouTuber recounts his conversation with Xbox Corporate Vice President Mike Ybarra. Apparently, Xbox started writing blank checks to their game studios, asking them to make game titles of their “wildest dreams”.

Speaking of studios, yesterday we reported about a leak from Twitter-user Klobrille (@klobrille). According to the leak, Microsoft is currently “in active talks” with other studios (both big and small) to bolster up its lineup of potential Xbox and Windows 10 developers.

  • GTA 6 New Dateline to be Chosen by Rockstar (Trailer)

GTA 6 New Dateline to be Chosen by Rockstar (Trailer)

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

The team behind the game still think about what the next version of the game should be and when will it be released. There are many rumors on the internet, some say it will make its appearance next year, some that it will be released in 2020, or sometime later, perhaps in 2022. Whatever the date, the rumors will still surface, and speculation will be everywhere, about the characters and the gameplay.

Other people keep asking about is the time when GTA 6 will be framed in. It’s worth mentioning that there have been some political thoughts that came as a reaction to the last game, GTA 5, that reflected the American society in a certain way – some people were not very pleased with this idea.

Will the company make the right decision?

There were some suggestions about the effect of the gameplay. The elements on the next game may be done with a certain motif in mind, that might be more evocative of the 1970s’ USA, rather than what they’re going with right now. Both Democrats and Republicans were not happy with it, so the team behind the game might play safe for their next game, and may leave out controversy of all kinds.

There’s another theory that says that South America will be the prominent idea of the game, but other parts of the USA, such as Vice City, will still be in the picture. Some even believe that the entire country will appear on the map.

    A female main character

It’s been also said that there will be a female protagonist. Opinions are everywhere at this moment, but some sources say that they won’t leave out this idea, because it has true importance to the main theme and the storyline.

Rockstar May Want to Play it Safe

It is in this context that there are suggestions to the effect the gameplay elements onGTA 6 may be designed with a motif that is more reminiscent of the USA of the 1970s rather than the current scenario. Since the earlier criticism cut across the left and the right, that is both the Republicans and the Democrats seem to be unhappy, the game’s developers may simply steer clear of the controversy of any kind. There is also the theory that while South America will figure prominently, parts of the US, particularly the Vice City will be strongly depicted. Some go to the extent of saying the whole of the US might be covered in the gameplay.

Other Factors Have Been Talked About Before

The other frequently raised point on what’s new with GTA 6 is the introduction of a female protagonist. Here again, views from either extreme have been expressed but some sources seem to indicate that while Rockstar is not averse to the idea of adding a female character, it will weigh the overall context of the game and only if the main theme and story-line are not affected this change will be made. This area has been seen to be quite sensitive and disturbing it would be the last thing Rockstar would do.

Much of these details here are still in the realm of speculation.

  • PS5 Report: Stunning 8K Graphics Revealed, Bloodborne 2 May Launch Alongside PS5 In 2020

PS5 Report: Stunning 8K Graphics Revealed, Bloodborne 2 May Launch Alongside PS5 In 2020

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

Gather around, Sony fans. We have two new exciting details for all of you. Firstly, graphics-wise, we may just have had a glimpse of what games could look like on the PlayStation 5 (PS5) platform. The other new detail is that the PS5 could launch alongside the Bloodborne 2.

    The Stunning Visuals

The PS5 is expected to be this monster device that will take the gaming experience to a new height. With that, tech enthusiasts are wondering what kind of experience it will offer, like its game graphics and other things.

It takes six months to create a single car. It’s over-specced for PS4 Pro. So we are building for future versions of the console rather than the one we see today. I think it would be no problem to run it at 8K even.”

    Bloodborne 2 Coming In 2020?

It’s been 3 years since FromSoftware released the gothic, Victorian era-inspired action role-playing game Bloodborne, and fans have been asking for a sequel for it.

Back in 2016, FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazaki told GGN Gamer that they had no plans at the moment for any sequels, spin-offs or tie-ins for Dark Souls and Bloodborne. However, he did say that he was open to the possibility of doing sequels.

Fast forward to the present, the company released Déraciné last month, which is a VR game. What’s interesting about this game is that it’s filled with Easter eggs referencing Bloodborne.

Check out this video by VaatiVidya (who by the way currently has 1.2m subscribers) discussing the Easter eggs.

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmG3BYTyCjo]

Thanks to this, this could be FromSoftware hinting that a prequel/sequel to the current Bloodborne game may be coming. Furthermore, it is speculated that the PS5 could launch alongside Bloodborne 2. And given that the PS5 is estimated to be released in 2020, that may be the year that we will see the Bloodborne 2.

How amazing do you think the PS5’s visuals will be? Also, do you think Déraciné is a sign from FromSoftware hinting that it Bloodborne 2 is coming? Tell us in the comment section below.

  • GTA 6: Is Choosing A 1970s Dateline Safe? Will Include The Entire US Map?

GTA 6: Is Choosing A 1970s Dateline Safe? Will Include The Entire US Map?

    Reading Time: 4 minutes

The Grand Theft Auto VI (aka GTA 6 or GTA VI) is expected to be RockStar Games’ next game after releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) and its multiplayer version – Red Dead Online. However, we’re not expecting the game to come anytime soon. In fact, according to some reports, it could be out as late as 2022.

But for this article, we’ll be reviewing rumors that we’ve been hearing in the past. Firstly, GTA 6 may choose a 1970s dateline to avoid trouble. The other rumor is that the game could feature the entire U.S.

Is Choosing A 1970s Dateline Safe?

The rumor that GTA 6 could be in the 1970s has been going on for years – probably as early as 2014 if we’re going to consider this source as the earliest.

Today, one of the reasons that RockStar may choose a 1970s dateline for the GTA 6 is because of today’s political climate. In fact, back in October, Rockstar Games’ co-founder Dan Houser expressed his relief that GTA 6 wasn’t happening during Trump’s divided America.

Today in the US, social issues, cultural stereotypes and politics are sensitive topics to talk about. If you’re not careful enough or you expressed it at an inappropriate moment, it can lead you into serious trouble. And with GTA series, it’s basically filled with satire. It features offensive jokes, themes, and vice. So it does make sense that Houser is relieved that the game wasn’t released this year because they will be facing backlash after backlash.

But will it make any difference though? Will the political climate be okay after Trump’s term? What if it will be just the same or even worse? Will Rockstar delay the game if that happens?

But in regards to the 1970s dateline, if RockStar will choose this, then in some way it does also make a bit of sense. Seeing the success of RDR2 and the game’s timeline, it may be a “safer”… probably.

Sure, some may argue that RDR2’s timeline and the supposed GTA 6’s 1970s timeline are miles apart so it doesn’t make sense to compare the two. However, they both have one thing in common – the past. Since both of them happened in the past, in case people will attack the game due to social issues or whatever, the company can more or less argue, “This is how things were in the past and this is simply a representation of it. Do you want us to change it drastically to fit today’s PC culture?” We all know what happened to EA’s Battlefield 5.

However, there will be another issue: Will the fans like it, the 1970s setting? You know how passionate the fans can be – they’re like a double-edged sword.

Will Include The Entire US Map?

Another rumor that we’ve been hearing is that GTA 6 could feature the entire US map. And if we’re going to look at how long this rumor has been circulating, it’s probably around 2015 if we’re going to consider this article as the earliest.

So, what are the chances of this happening? Well, although we can’t say for sure, there’s a chance that it could happen if we consider what Rockstar did with RDR2. The game’s map is huge… really huge.

Take a look at this map comparison photo between GTA 5 and RDR2’s map. It’s at least 3 GTA 5 maps combined. With it, players have so many things do, so many people to meet, and so many places to explore.

The GTA series is one of Rockstar’s most beloved franchises. It would be strange if it won’t receive the same effort that the company has poured over RDR2. So even if GTA 6 won’t feature the entire map of the US, we’re at least expecting that it will have a really huge map.

So When Is GTA 6 Expected To Come?

According to a report, GTA 6 may eventually be announced in 2020. However, for its release, this is where things get a bit complicated. We’ve already mentioned earlier that some reports suggest that the game could be out as late as 2022. However, others also say that 2022 is the earliest and that it could be extended until 2026.

Are you okay with GTA 6 set in the 1970s? What do you think are the chances of it featuring the entire US map? Tell us in the comment section below.

Sony May Have Just Revealed What PS5 Graphics Will Be Like

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

Can’t wait to get a look at PS5 graphics? You’re not alone. A lot of gamers have been asking a lot of questions about the specs and capabilities of the PlayStation 5. So far, Sony has not offered a lot of answers. But now, we may have just gotten a look at what we can expect as far as graphical capabilities — and it is pretty impressive.

Well, that may have all changed right now. It seems that a quick 12-second video may have been leaked showing the graphics performance of the PlayStation 5. Take a look at this video below that shows Gran Turismo in 8K and 120 fps or frames per second.

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwqB2uxEY4k]

Sony attended the Inter BEE conference in Tokyo recently. Not familiar with it? You can compare it to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which takes place in Las Vegas.

At the conference, Sony showcased their cutting-edge Crystal LED Display System (CLEDIS). CLEDIS boasts 120 FPS and 8K on a screen measuring a whopping 440 inches (prompting the product tagline, “go big or go bigger”). Above, you can check out again the footage they displayed on the CLEDIS.

Keep in mind that it looked more impressive in real-life. After all, this is a recording, so it has lost some quality. Plus, you are watching it on your regular monitor, which lacks the capabilities of the CLEDIS.

The footage sure looks like Grand Turismo. Curiously enough, a few months back, Creator Kazunori Yamauchi reportedly said, “It takes six months to create a single car. It’s over-specced for PS4 Pro. So we are building for future versions of the console rather than the one we see today. I think it would be no problem to run it at 8K even.”

So does that mean that what we saw at the conference in Tokyo was a demonstration of what the PS5 will be capable of? It seems possible at this point. Hopefully, we will be hearing something solid from Sony about the next-gen console soon. Make sure you are keeping up with all of our PlayStation updates so you do not miss anything.

  • PS5’s Prototype Images Leaked, More Information On Pricing

PS5’s Prototype Images Leaked, More Information On Pricing

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

PlayStation has been one of the most well-known console brands, from the time of the PS1’s release. The PS4 is the most recent iteration, launched way back in 2013. Both Xbox and Playstation follow a 6-7 year release cycle so a new release is due soon enough.

    First Look At PS5’s Prototype

Given how well the current gen consoles held up, some of us can’t wait to know what Sony and Microsoft will bring next.

    PS5 Prototype Source – Rozetked

Rozetkeda website well known for their Pixel 3 leaks just got hold of images of an early prototype of the PS5.

Rozetked stated that they got the pictures from an anonymous source and can’t vouch for its authenticity. But nevertheless it doesn’t hurt to take a closer look.

    Familiar Design Philosophy

    PS5 Prototype Source – Rozetked

If this is indeed a real prototype, it seems Sony’s core design philosophy hasn’t changed. We did see a lot of sci-fi illustrations, but design has to be practical and this seems like one.

Dimensions can’t be judged properly from a picture, but the unit seems big with many vents for air passage. This might hint towards significant hardware under the hood. When the PS4 and Xbox One released, some developers weren’t very happy with the hardware, fearing it might be a limiting factor in coming years. CDprojektRed even stated “Developing only for the PC: yes, probably we could get more [in terms of graphics] as there would be nothing else – they would be so focused, like if we would develop only on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. But then we cannot afford such a game.

    Hardware

The next iteration of the PS5 might not be limited by mediocre hardware as reports suggest the presence of a eight-core Ryzen chip with Zen+ architecture (Like the 2700X) and a Vega GPU.

    Price And Other Features

Rozetked’s source suggests that the retail price might be around $500 USD, which is similar to the pricing of the Xbox One X. They even suggest a new naming scheme stating “An insider under the nickname RuthenicCookie previously reported that in the name of the console, the Arabic numeral will be replaced by the Roman. So the title could be Sony PlayStation V.

    PS5 Prototype Source – Rozetked

Apparently the prototype of the PS5 can boot into the bootloader, but there’s no familiar interface due to the lack of an official firmware, which might be in development.

This might not end up being the PS5, but it gives us a pretty good idea of Sony’s approach to the upcoming PS5’s design.

  • PS4 Hacker Disconnecting Players From PSN For Disrespecting Him

PS4 Hacker Disconnecting Players From PSN For Disrespecting Him

    Reading Time: 2 minutes

There’s apparently a teenage hacker on PlayStation 4 that is disconnecting players from PSN if they “disrespect him.” In other words, welcome to the wonderful world of gaming in 2018.

A teenager who goes by “SpangeBaab” on PSN (one of many names/accounts), apparently wields some wizardry and has the ability to disconnect whoever he likes from PSN, whenever.

Taking to Reddit, user DowntownReaper shared a run-in with the hacker, which began after said hacker reportedly joined he and his friend’s party and began making random noises. He was quickly kicked. Following this, he proceeded to rejoin the party multiple times, and every time he got kicked he apparently permanently disconnected a party member from PSN.

According to the Reddit user, none of his friends who were in the party have been able to reconnect to PSN since this happened.

Looking into the story, outlet MP1ST found SpangeBaab’s profile, which seemingly confirms he’s indeed the hacker the Reddit user claims he is.

As you can see, disrespect equals disconnect. And something tells me he’s been disrespected quite a bit to indulge in such a holy crusade.

If you’re wondering how the hacker is able to do this, it’s because voice chat is peer-to-peer, meaning all you need to do is inspect the network packets in order to learn someone’s IP address, which then allows for you to ban them.

In order to remedy the “disconnect,” a user likely would have to set up a new network connection and set new IP’s manually.

As you may know, these type of DDOS attacks are sadly not very uncommon on PS4 and other gaming systems. While Sony and Microsoft haven’t gotten better at preventing and managing widespread attacks, this type of stuff is way more common than it should be. That said, a fix for this specific issue likely won’t be coming anytime soon, because in order to make sure this doesn’t happen, the platform holder would have to have global servers to host all voice sessions, and that would be incredibly expensive.

At the moment of writing this, the account of SpangeBaab is now being “moderated.” Of course, this should all be taken with a grain of salt, but it’s probably not a bad idea to block the above-pictured user whose description warns of disconnecting people for disrespecting.

    Thanks, MP1ST.

  • All PS5 Games Confirmed or Rumoured

All PS5 Games Confirmed or Rumoured

    Reading Time: 4 minutes

What PS5 games have been announced? What PS5 games have been rumoured? In this guide, we’re going to list every PS5 game that we know of ahead of the console’s release, which is probably going to happen within the next couple of years. This list is based on at least partial confirmation from publishers or developers, rumours that have weight, and educated guesswork.

We’ll be updating this article over time as more information becomes available, so be sure to check back.

Status: Announced for PS4, but likely cross-gen with PS5

EA’s “Destiny killer” is due out in February 2019 on PlayStation 4, but if the company wants a constantly evolving game, then it’s going to need to make the jump to next-gen at some point. We’re fully expecting ANTHEM to carry over to the PS5 alongside other service-based titles via enhanced editions and the like.

Status: Announced for PS4, but given scope of game and development progress, a PS5 release seems likely

CD Projekt Red’s next role-playing experience has already wowed with a lengthy gameplay demo, and expectations are sky high after The Witcher 3. The Polish developer has stated numerous times that Cyberpunk 2077 is bound for the PS4, but given that the game is reportedly still a while off, we can definitely see it releasing as a cross-gen title. Besides, the sheer ambition on display suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 has already given us a glimpse of what an open world PS5 game could be.

Status: Announced for PS4, but given development progress, an additional PS5 release seems feasible

It’s a bit mad to think that we still don’t know an awful lot about Death Stranding. Sony’s placed a lot of faith in iconic developer Hideo Kojima and his team at Kojima Productions, and it’s clearly willing to give the studio the time that it needs to ensure Death Stranding’s quality. However, given the game’s production cycle thus far, it’s not too much of a jump to assume that it’ll appear on PS5 in some form.

Status: Announced for PS4, but given development progress, an additional PS5 release seems plausible

Like Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima’s release window is up for debate. We don’t quite know how far into development the game is, and so a PS5 version, whether it’s a cross-gen launch or an enhanced edition that hits after the PS4 release, seems feasible. Again, this one is dependent on developer Sucker Punch and Sony’s management of the project, but we’re willing to bet that a lot of these later PS4 games are going to be carried over to the next generation in some way.

Status: Unannounced, but an educated guess

We already know that developer Sony Santa Monica is working on its next project, and given the outstanding success of God of War on PS4, a sequel is inevitable. Taking into account the development time of a potential project like this, it’s reasonably safe to say that it’ll launch on the PS5.

Status: Unannounced, but an educated guess

Developer Guerrilla Games is hard at work on something, and you don’t have to be a genius to assume that the project in question is a sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn. The new IP was a smash hit on PS4, and the studio’s reputation for pushing hardware limits makes the hypothetical Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 a strong candidate to show off the upgraded power of the PS5. Whether it’ll be a next-gen launch title is up for debate, but we wouldn’t be at all surprised.

Status: Announced with no platforms specified, but strongly hinted to be a next-gen title

The Elder Scrolls VI is years off, and that means it’s almost certainly going to be a PS5 game. Publisher Bethesda has made a habit of announcing its games relatively close to their release dates, but with this one, its hand was somewhat forced at E3 2018 due to swirling speculation and the fact that it had to keep fans happy after talking at length about mobile titles.

Status: Announced for PS4, but given development progress, an additional PS5 release seems plausible

Just like Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima, it’s not hard to envision The Last of Us: Part II as a cross-gen title. Another PS4 game that’s settled with a long development cycle, developer Naughty Dog’s pedigree is abundantly clear, and Sony will want to ensure that this sequel releases at exactly the right time.

Status: Unannounced, but seemingly inevitable given the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4

Another seemingly inevitable sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, or whatever it happens to be called, would almost certainly be a PS5 title. The seriously impressive success of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 will have already been enough to greenlight this hypothetical project, and as long as it’s something that Sony and Marvel want (why wouldn’t they?) then it’s going to happen.

Status: Announced with no platforms specified, but strongly hinted to be a next-gen title

Another early announcement from Bethesda, Starfield will supposedly mark the developer’s first step into galactic sci-fi territory. At E3 2018, the company hinted strongly that Starfield is targeting next-gen hardware, so we fully expect this one to show up on PS5.

  • PS5 To Be Revealed In 2019, Says Leaker

PS5 To Be Revealed In 2019, Says Leaker

    Reading Time: < 1 minute

A leaker who goes by the name of RuthenicCookie, who reported ahead of the announce that Sony wouldn’t be attending E3 2019, has shared more information about the upcoming PS5.

According to the leaker, PlayStation Experience would be making a comeback in 2019, and on top of that there would be two different reveal events for PlayStation 5.

The console would be showcased the first time at a smaller venue (mid 2019) like the PlayStation Meeting in 2016, and then PSX would be the perfect fit for a final blowout of information and details.

He addressed an user’s observation about the possible release of the console in 2021, and said that “nope, it’s coming soon because Anthem is being tested on one of the dev kits. It’s coming in the next 1-1.5 years and boy it’s a beast.”

The leaker also added that Anthem “is a mess” on current gen consoles and would be delayed again, which lead producer has already debunked.

So, take all of this as a grain of salt, mainly because we’re quite convinced that all these things are actually going to be happening in 2020 and not sooner.

  • 8 Core AMD Ryzen CPU rumoured to power Sony’s upcoming PS5

8 Core AMD Ryzen CPU rumoured to power Sony’s upcoming PS5

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

Sony’s PS5 could be built with an eight-core AMD Ryzen CPU at its centre. While the console is not expected to launch for another year, if not longer, its tech specs are already starting to propagate across the web. The next-gen console will supposedly reach 4K60 thanks to the red team’s core-heavy silicon, potentially paired up with an AMD Navi GPU.

The rumour comes from Reddit, specifically a user that correctly called PlayStation dropping out of E3 before that rumour was confirmed by Sony itself. Within the same thread ‘RuthenicCookie’ reports that the PS5 – supposedly set to launch in either March or November 2020 – will be powered by an eight-core Ryzen CPU, and priced at $500.

Of course, those details could be subject to change depending on the rumours’ veracity. However, this isn’t the first time AMD has been touted as working hand-in-hand with Sony on its next-gen console. AMD engineers were reportedly already tweaking code for Ryzen CPUs back in May, and even the AMD Navi GPU architecture was at one point in time touted as custom-tailored specifically for use in Sony’s console.

AMD has always had a knack for blending CPU and GPU components and its semi-custom wing is still racking up major clients under Mike Rayfield and David Wang’s leadership.
Two out of the three largest games consoles on the planet, barring the Nintendo Switch powered by Nvidia’s Tegra X1, utilise AMD APU technology. Every sale of a PS4 or Xbox One – including mid-generation revamps – helps put a little extra in AMD’s pocket.

While 7nm AMD Zen 2 desktop chips and Navi GPUs are expected in 2019, mobile APU parts currently trail behind. APU components for both the desktop and mobile space should be arriving on 7nm by the time 2020 rolls around, and AMD could feasibly opt for a Zen 2 processor rather than Zen/Zen+ with future semi-custom designs if required.

The 7nm process might come a little too late for the PS5 if rumours of the current dev kits out in the wild already ring true. Although, while dev kits are representative of final hardware to an extent, they aren’t exactly what will be shipping come launch day.

As for GPU, the leaker makes no mention of the graphics tech within Sony’s next-gen console. However, the general consensus so far is that the AMD Navi architecture will be driving the experience. It was even once put forward that a large part of Raja Koduri’s AMD Navi engineering team was swept away to work on Sony’s implementation. Both semi-custom and Radeon work under the same leadership but those rumours still seem quite outlandish.

The AMD Ryzen/Vega combination has made its way into a Chinese domestic console, paving the way for future SoC console designs. Zhongshan Subor’s console features a 24 CU Vega GPU, 8GB of GDDR5, and a quad-core / eight-thread Ryzen CPU.

We know for sure that AMD’s GPU tech is a little more flexible when it comes to memory modules, at least. GDDR6 has the highest likelihood of appearing in both the next-gen consoles due to GDDR5 making up the memory pool in both the Xbox One X and PS4/Pro. The Xbox One utilises DDR3 memory.

That doesn’t rule out HBM (High Bandwidth Memory), however. AMD’s graphics tech has been proven to be quite flexible on the memory front, and this memory could offer significant efficiency and space savings thanks to its on-die approach.

“It is definitely opportunistic,” David Wang, senior VP of engineering at RTG, says. “But we have a baseline technology and our graphics architecture is scalable, is flexible, and it can work with HBM effectively and can also work very well with GDDR6.”

On early rumours alone it looks like AMD has net itself some incredibly strong business for the next half decade at least. The PS4 has shipped over 80 million units since it first launched in 2013, and, for some perspective on what AMD’s semi-custom business rakes in, the sales from its entire SoC business eclipses both Polaris and Vega sales combined in 2018.

Consoles are big business, and, whether you are privy to a console exclusive every now or then, or strictly PC gaming-only, AMD certainly wouldn’t be in the same position it is right now without clients like Microsoft and Sony. And whatever hardware tribe you ascribe to, the tech we get is better when it’s a competitive market.

  • Insider Who Leaked Sony’s E3 Info Confirms PS5 Announcement and Release Date

Insider Who Leaked Sony’s E3 Info Confirms PS5 Announcement and Release Date

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

PlayStation 4 was a massive hit and upcoming PlayStation 5 is not going to be any less as the rumors are dropping in which tell us that it has a release date set for 2019. New PlayStation 5 leaks tell us a possible release date and it’s coming from someone who recently predicted that Sony will miss the upcoming E3 which turned out to be true the next day.

Yes, Sony has officially confirmed that they are going missing E3 2019 but some people were not surprised at all because it was already leaked a day before from a user called RuthenicCookie on Reddit. At first, many didn’t believe him but the next day it was officially confirmed by Sony through a statement which was obtained by Game Informer. Now, this cancellation is something which hasn’t happened in the past 24 years of Sony so there’s definitely a reason behind it.

Since the leak turned out to be true, we now have to give some attention to RuthenicCookie as he’s been active recently talking about the upcoming PlayStation 5, PSVR 2 and its release date.

So we decided to point out everything he’s leaking on Reddit. Do take this all with a grain of salt. It’s true that one of his leaks turned out to be true but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be the same case every time.

According to him, PlayStation 5 or PS5 is going to revealed sometime in mid of 2019 in an event similar to PS4 reveal previously. After that, Sony returns with PSX event to reveal more about the upcoming PlayStation 5. Now he further tells that Sony is targeting March 2020 release date but it could also be pushed to November.

After reading his comments, we came to know that PlayStation 5 is capable of running at stable 4K along with 60 FPS. The Playstation/PS5 will come with a Ryzen 8 core and it’s going to cost $500 which is going to be a very reasonable price for a next-gen console.

Other than PlayStation 5 reveal next year, he also talked about PSVR 2 and a few upcoming games. According to him, the PSVR 2 will have its processing box built inside PS5. PS5 will have a built-in camera for tracking and new PlayStation Move controller are also going to come with it. He also mentioned that Sony is testing some kind of VR gloves which we can’t talk about much at the moment.

PlayStation 5 is also going to bring some late PS4 games. These games include Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part 2. According to him, Anthem will get delayed once again and that’s something very likely to happen but let’s hope not.

We are going to compile everything RuthenticCookie has said in a list below.

    • PlayStation Experience will return in 2019
    • Dev Kits are already available
