Counter Strike 1.6 fans with Android Wear rejoice! Now you can run the game on your smartwatch, thanks to an app called Xash3D.

    [mbYTPlayer url=“https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t8fM9U5BS0″ opacity=“.5″ quality=“medium“ ratio=“auto“ isinline=“false“ showcontrols=“false“ realfullscreen=“true“ printurl=“true“ autoplay=“true“ mute=“true“ loop=“true“ addraster=“true“ stopmovieonblur=“false“ gaTrack=“false“]

This piece of software basically enables one to run old Windows versions on Android Wear, given that you have a copy of the original. Once both are ready to go, all you need to do is make a separate Xash folder, then copy the Valve / Counter Strike folders into that, launch the client app, and you’re ready to game.

Are we living in the future? Samsung seems to think so, as two new ads for its Galaxy Gear smart watch compare the gadget to famous watches from television and movies.

Posted on YouTube, the first spot (above) shows off watches with advanced functionality — fromDick Tracy’s communication watch to KITT’s smart watch in Knight Rider.

In Samsung’s second spot (below), film and TV characters are shown talking into their watches, including the Predator, Penny from Inspector Gadget and Agent 86 from Get Smart. If anything, the ad reminds us that wrist communicators were really popular between the 1960s and the 1980s.

‚In my restless dreams, i see that town, Silent Hill‘. This is one of the most famous quotes from Konami’s survival horror, you just change the words ‚Silent Hill‘ for Galaxy Gear or Galaxy Note 3 and you’ll get the perfect definition of the new TV ad the Korean company has released.

A young girl finds inspiration in her daily life and uses the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 and Gear to revitalize a lost art form.

Using My Magazine, Action Memo and Smart Relay, she creates a spectacle in the front of a once sleepy toy shop.

By adding a new twist to a loved classic, she takes Annie Lennox’s „Sweet Dreams“ and re-envisions it with a modern take.

Samsung’s vision was realized with the help of Paul Hunter who has directed videos for some of the world’s top artists like Snoop Dogg, Christina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson to name a few.
