Announced today, more new characters have joined the battle for survival against the forces of evil in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE including:
– Ultron
– Hulk
– Thor
– Hawkeye
– Rocket Raccoon

Each newly-added character will feature unique abilities, iconic special moves and will join other previously-announced characters, including Captain Marvel, Iron Man and Captain America from the Marvel side, and Ryu, Mega Man X and Morrigan from Capcom. The use of powerful, game-changing Infinity Stones further deepens the customized gameplay and allows players to equip and unleash elemental in-game powers, such as Time, Power and Space.
In addition to the compelling cinematic story experience, single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes and vast multiplayer offerings will provide memorable experiences and infinite gameplay possibilities for players of all skill levels. Pre-orders for MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE are available beginning today on all platforms for the $59.99 MSRP Standard Edition and $89.99 MSRP Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes the main game on PS4 or Xbox One and a 2017 Character Pass, which contains access to six all-new additional post-launch characters including Sigma, the main antagonist from the Mega Man® X series. METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN ist die bislang umfangreichste und ambitionierteste Veröffentlichung innerhalb der Serie und erscheint am 1. September. Zwar kommt den gefeierten Stealth-Elementen der Reihe auch im neuen Titel eine zentrale Bedeutung zu, dennoch zeigt das neue Video die verschiedenen Vorgehensweisen, die zu einer immer wieder variierenden Spieleerfahrung führen.
Jede der gezeigten Sequenzen im Video ist etwa sieben Minuten lang und fokussiert die verschiedenen Charaktere, Unterstützungssysteme, Stealth-Optionen und diversen Angriffsszenarien.
1. Kooperative Aktionen mit Quiet:
METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN bietet ein einzigartiges “Buddy”-System, durch das Spieler für den Missions-Einsatz einen Verbündeten rekrutieren können. Quiet ist ein solcher, auswählbarer „Buddy“; sie verfügt über unglaubliche Fähigkeiten als Scharfschützin. Die erste Videosequenz zeigt eine Mission, in welcher der Spieler mit Hilfe von Quiet einen entlegenen Außenposten einnimmt, um von diesem aus koordinierte Angriffe zu starten, Feinde außer Gefecht zu setzen und Snake bei der Erfüllung der Mission Rückendeckung zu geben.
2. Chirurgische Luftangriffe:
Missionen können auch in eher brachialer Weise angegangen werden. So zeigt die zweite Sequenz die eher Action-orientierten Elemente von METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN. Nachdem Snake, der Held der Serie, mit schwerer Kampfausrüstung ausgestattet wurde, nutzt der Spieler den mit einem Geschütz bewehrten Helikopter, um bei Nacht strategisch wichtige, feindliche Anlagen zu zerstören. Unter Zuhilfenahme automatischer Waffen stürmt Snake den feindlichen Posten schließlich in einem gewaltigen Feuergefecht, bevor er sein Ziel ausfindig macht.
3. Attentat aus der Ferne:
In METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN ist Geduld eine Tugend. So zeigt die nun folgende Sequenz im Video, wie Missionen komplett aus der Ferne erfüllt werden können. Zudem wird Snakes bionische Armprothese vorgestellt, die in diesem Titel zum ersten Mal zum Einsatz kommt. Nachdem Snake mit seinem schwer bewaffneten D-Horse in feindliches Gebiet vorgedrungen ist, wartet er, bis es Nacht wird, bevor er einen Wächter mit einem Geschoss aus seinem prothetischen Arm ausschaltet. Die Waffenfähigkeiten des bionischen Arms werden vorgeführt, indem der Spieler die „Missile Cam“ nutzt, um – ähnlich wie mit dem Nikita System, das bereits in vergangenen METAL GEAR ONLINE Titeln zum Einsatz kam – ein zentrales Ziel auszuschalten.
4. Thinking „Outside the Box”:
Die METAL GEAR ONLINE Serie ist für ihr Stealth-basiertes Gameplay berühmt; die dritte Videosequenz demonstriert daher, wie altbewährte und neue Fähigkeiten kombiniert werden können, um dem Spieler noch mehr Stealth-Optionen zu eröffnen. Die Sequenz zeigt Snake, wie er mit dem Einsatz des berühmten Kartons und neuen, cleveren Tricks Truppen auf dem Weg zu einem Außenposten abfängt. Mithilfe der sorgfältigen Platzierung von Sprengstoff und einer ahnungslosen Wache wird die Mission erfüllt, ohne die gegnerische Basis überhaupt zu betreten.

Capcom today confirmed that the definitive version of the critically acclaimed masterpiece Resident Evil is set for release digitally across Europe beginning on January 20, 2015 for RRP EUR19.99 / GBP 15.99. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Xbox 360 and PC.
Using the latest resolution enhancement and 3D model technology, game resolutions and textures have been significantly upgraded, including 1080p support on next-gen consoles, resulting in characters and backgrounds coming to life in greater detail than ever seen before in Resident Evil. Not only will the graphics impress but the tense sound effects have been fully remastered with 5.1 surround support for a greater gaming atmosphere. Players are now able to choose not only between experiencing the terror at the classic 4:3 ratio or a stunning 16:9 widescreen mode but also the type of control scheme they play with. The classic control scheme remains for fans of the original play style or there’s an alternative scheme where the character moves directly in the direction of the analogue stick, utilizing the standards of the current generation of gaming. Both the control scheme and the display options can be toggled between at any time during gameplay.
The intense horror fans first experienced with the release of the original Resident Evil is back. Taking place in the now notorious Raccoon City, players choose to take on the role of either S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) team member Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine who have been sent into the city to find the missing Bravo team. When the team is suddenly attacked by a ferocious group of mutated dogs, desperate for an escape they take shelter in the Mansion, but will they ever get out alive again? Players will need to be brave as they adventure through the dark, enclosed spaces searching out the horrors that await them. With limited ammo and survival items available gamers will need to keep their wits about them to survive the various traps and puzzles that greet them at every stage.
