    Twitter user @evleaks has -yet again- leaked another upcoming game controller for theiPhone.

    This time is from Logitech, and it will be called ‚Powershell‘:

    The most popular gadgets leak Twitter account @evleaks has first posted a photo of Logitech’s gaming controller for iPhone on October 1st but didn’t revealed the name. And yesterday on 26th October, it has revealed the name – Powershell for the gaming dock and to add more to the claim, there is a legal filing for trademark and patent at Legalforce is found, which backs the claims and shows that Logitech has applied for the trademark in last month.

    According to the Legalforce’s trademark filing, the device is an “integrated game control device and battery pack for use with computers and digital electronic devices.”

    The filing not mentioned iPhones anywhere in the filing. However, there would be an issue if Microsoft has the trademark for the term “Powershell” as they already has the product named as Windows Powershell.

    All started with comments from game journalist Adam Sessler (and a few others), tweeting hints of impending „bad news“ concerning the video game’s industry.

    At first, people assumed it had to do with the recent „reveal“ that Xbox One versions of some games would run at lower resolutions than their PS4 counterparts, and that Microsoft embargoed Xbone games due to fear of websites making comparison videos.

    However, it looks like it really has to do with Sony, and the fact that they will allow game/system reviews only 2 days before the PlayStation 4 launch!

    According to Marcus Beer (from GT):

    Its not just about the games, its reviewing the actual system 2 days before the damn thing ships.

    Something feels off right now to be honest & a lot of people are pissed about it.

    If you have seen anything I have done over the last 8 months, you will know I have been very happy with the way Sony has been doing things but now its time for them to shit or get off the pot and they are being damn evasive about allowing serious access to the system before launch.

    I have mine preordered (ditto XboxOne) & if that is the only way I will get to have said access to the PS4 then so be it.

    When people delay access to something, game or hardware, it’s never for a good reason in my experience.

    Jeremy Conrad (former IGN Journalist) has „confirmed“ that Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts will run at 720p on the Xbox One.

    According to him, FIFA 14, Forza 4 and NBA2K runs at 1080p on Microsoft’s next-gen console. And, there’s more on the matter:

    Sony has published a ‚PlayStation 4 FAQ‘, which clarifies sharing, activating a primary system, friends lists, and more!

    “Primary” Console Sharing

    On a system that you activated as your “primary” PlayStation 4 system, other users can play games you download. If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, certain benefits can also be enjoyed by other users. You do not have to log in to the system for other users to enjoy these benefits.

    Playing on Other PlayStation 4 Systems

    On systems that you have not activated as your “primary” PlayStation 4 system, only you can start games you download, and only you can enjoy benefits from PlayStation Plus.

    Playing Disc-Based Games

    You can share discs with your friends and play disc games on your PlayStation 4 system just like you can on a PlayStation 3 system. You do not have to connect to the internet or pay any usage fees to play used games.

    Why should I activate my system as my primary PlayStation 4?

    You can activate one PlayStation 4 system per account as your “primary” PlayStation 4 system. When you activate your system, the following features become available.

    • Anyone who uses your PlayStation 4 system can enjoy games and applications you purchase from PlayStation Store.
    • Anyone who uses your PlayStation 4 system can enjoy numerous benefits if you join PlayStation Plus.

    With PlayStation 4, users can friend up to 2,000 people on PlayStation Network. You can view your friends on any device you have signed in to with your PlayStation Network account. The number of players displayed varies for each device.

    • PlayStation 3 – A maximum of 100 players can be displayed.

    Which 100 players will be displayed on PlayStation 3?

    2. If the sum of players from point (1) and your currently online Friends is more than 100, your currently online Friends are displayed by online ID in alphabetical order until the limit of 100 players is reached.

    Speaking with Polygon, Ouya founder and CEO Julie Uhrman said that we should expect an“Ouya 2.0″, with an updated controller for the Android-powered console, to launch sometime next year.

    However, she added that the date hasn’t been finalized just yet, nor has the firm determined “what exactly we want that to be”…

    „Our plan is to have Ouya 2.0 sometime next year, we haven’t finalized the date of that,“ she said. „We’re still determining what exactly we want that to be.

    „The software is constantly iterating because we want to make it constantly better. We don’t want to wait six months and then go boom here are all these new features and functionality For the hardware, we are looking at different chips. We are looking at what type of performance we want.“

    They are updating the controller based on user feedback. The triggers, thumbsticks and the feel of the controller have all been tweaked.

    „We want to provide a great experience to gamers and developers,“ she said. „So we want to improve our controller to make it so. If it doesn’t happen that way, yeah, maybe we will abandon [the controllers] and allow you to pair anything you want with Ouya, because ultimately it’s what’s great for gamers.

    „Part of that is taking that feedback, iterating that software, fixing the triggers, fixing the thumbsticks and if that doesn’t work, we’ll iterate it again and if we decide that’s not the right path, we’ll change it. I think that’s one thing that differentiates us. We don’t have this firm path we’re going to stay on come hell or high water. We take the feedback from gamers, from developers and we iterate and we change. When it’s not working we say so.“

    Rocksmith® 2014 Edition bietet ein komplett umstrukturiertes Interface sowie viele neue Funktionen, Techniken, Einstellungen und Modi. Jetzt können ehrgeizige Gitarristen in nur 60 Tagen Gitarre spielen lernen.

     

    Der innovative Session-Modus ermöglicht dem Spieler durch seine neuartige Technologie seine eigenen Musikstücke mithilfe einer virtuellen Band zu kreieren, die ihn in Echtzeit begleitet. Der Spieler kann aus einer Vielzahl von Musikstilen und aus über 70 Instrumenten auswählen. Bildschirmanweisungen helfen ihm beim Improvisieren und Jammen mit dieser Band.
