Top 10 thing we really want from Back to the Future! #BTTFDay 2015

    Reading Time: 5 minutes

So we made a little list with 10 things we tought that should have arrived before the 10/21/2015 or even not!

    10. Garden Center Fruit Dispencer

    bttf_Gardencenter

The Garden Center fruit dispenser (also sometimes known as simply Garden Centerwas a device that would hold and preserve fruit. The technology, available in 2015, was designed not only to promote good nutrition, but also good manners. The McFly family had such a dispenser at their home in Hilldale.

    9. Black&Decker Hydrator

    Hydrate_Level_Four_Please

Boy, oh boy, Mom, you sure know how to hydrate a pizza.Marty McFly

In the futuristic world of 2015 you’ll „hydrate“ Pizza Hut pizzas with your Black & Decker Hydrator.

    8. Mr. Fusion

    Back-to-the-Future-Mr-Fusion-Replica

Marty: „Wait a minute, what are you doing, Doc?
    Doc: „I need fuel!
    — Marty and Doc while Doc refuels Mr. Fusion with garbage

The Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor was the name of a power source used by the DeLorean time machine. The actual unit was manufactured by Fusion Industries.

And by the way if you want to make your own, just follow the video below 😉 🙂

    7. JVC Video Glasses

    FutureGlassesCap _86207899_8cfb87a2-7e29-48ff-b975-d5a62726a3f7

Video glasses were an input device, used in 2015, to view televisionprograms without a large screen. Marty McFly, Jr. wore a pair of JVC video glasses while eating dinner with his family; it was while heading to his chair in front of the TV beforehand, he passed 1985 Jennifer and commented on her pants („Hey, Mom. Nice pants“) — completely failing to notice that she was thirty years younger.

Now we would call those things maybe, OCULUS Rifts, Gear VR’s or Hololenses 😉 🙂 but JVC what did you miss out ?!?

    6. Automatic Dog-Walker , Dog Drone

Automatic dog-walkers were units developed between 1985 and 2015 that consisted of an autonomous hovercraft leashed to a dog’s collar to walk it when the owner was preoccupied.

    BTTF2-37-Dog-Walker-Drone

Marty McFly saw one of these in Hilldale the night he and Emmett Brown attempted to rescue Jennifer Parker from his future residence, and wandered away to do some exploring of Hilldale. The distraction was sufficient for Biff Tannen to steal the DeLorean time machine and travel from 2015 back to 1955.

    5. Pepsi Perfect – The Future is now Bottle

    pepsi-bttf2

When Marty arrived in 2015, there were no other cola brands visible to him except for Pepsi products. Pepsi Perfect was vitamin-enriched, and came in a bottle with its own built-in straw. Due to inflation, a bottle of Pepsi cost about $50.00. However, as of 2010, a 20 oz. bottle of Pepsi averages $1.50, so in order for inflation to suddenly surge to 666.66% per year, the economy would have to take a nosedive of Zimbabwean proportions.

    4. Nike Air McFly, Clothes

The Clothes are one of the biggest deals of Back to the Future, i mean we should all be dressed like this or:  🙂 🙂

    just-a-friendly-reminder

and the Nikes from the Fox Foundation where a special Edition and sold out really quick:

    3. Holomax Cinema, Holographic Projection

We are almost there?! Really?! We saw some nice concepts in the past, but their far away from near!!

We wished this part so hard to become true on 10/21/2015 but we only can hope.

    2. The almighty Hoverboard!

    back-to-future-hoverboard-3

Data: „Hey McFly, you bojo! Those boards don’t work on water!Whitey: „Unless you got power! Hahahah…„— Griff’s gang taunts Marty McFly

A hoverboard is similar in appearance to a skateboard but underwent a hover conversion. They were manufactured in 2015 for all age ranges by different companies. Mattel made pink and orange models with handlebars for young children. Other companies made more aggressive boards, that were used by gangs in some instances, including the No Tech series, the Rising Sun, the Question Mark, and the Pit Bull, a rocket-fired board with three attachments for other riders on similar boards.

You can get them on Ebay for about 60 $: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BACK-TO-THE-FUTURE-HOVER-BOARD-REPLICA-PROP-SKATEBOARD-Marty-McFly-FULL-SIZE-/251976908632?hash=item3aaafe7f58:g:F6sAAOSwBahVaKmP7

but all are waiting for the real one working!! Even Car Industries trying their best so Lexus also made a good step into that direction:

    1. Delorean Timemachine 🙂 🙂

Could you not all mention it, sure the best thing we all want is the Timemachine from the Movie 🙂

Here are some cool Deloreans that made it to the Year 2015!!

  • Back to the Future posters show time travel from another perspective!

Back to the Future posters show time travel from another perspective!

    Reading Time: < 1 minute

It’s 2015, so many of us did a Back to the Future marathon on New Years to celebrate it being the year of hover skateboards and self-lacing shoes. It was my first time seeing Parts 2 and 3 myself, and I’m always blown away every time the DeLorean hits 88mph, taking Marty and the Doc to some distant timeline or alternate reality.

That’s what makes these posters, created by artist Andy Fairhurst, so incredible. Called the 88MPH Trilogy, each shows a top-down view of the DeLorean the moment it travels between timelines, all starting with that fateful trip back to 1955. Take a look.

  • Where Is the Black & Decker Food Hydrator!?

Where Is the Black & Decker Food Hydrator!?

    Reading Time: < 1 minute

In the 1989 film Back to the Future II, Marty McFly visits October 21, 2015 and witnesses all kinds of new technology including power shoelaces and flying hover boards. Arguably the greatest technological advancement of them all, however, is the food hydrator. It’s now 9 months until the fated day, but there are no signs or advancements that allow pizza to be hydrated. Are you as disappointed as I am?

The food hydrator works sort of like an oven or microwave. In the movie, Grandma Lorraine puts a small, dehydrated Pizza Hut pizza into the hydrator and says „hydrate level 4, please!“ and the pizza comes out normal size and ready to eat. It only takes 12 seconds to work. It’s food magic.

Unfortunately right now, the only way to rehydrate anything it to basically boil it. Obviously, pizza isn’t the ideal candidate for this process. Such a bummer.

It’s not Back to the Future II‘s fault for getting our hopes up; the movie had the right idea all along. You have nine more months to rectify this situation, Black & Decker.
