    Mit GEARS OF WAR: ULTIMATE EDITION für die Multiplayer Beta qualifizieren

     

    Einfach bis 11. April bei Xbox Live anmelden und bis spätestens 19:00 GEARS OF WAR: ULTIMATE EDITION auf Xbox One oder Windows 10 spielen. GEARS OF WAR: ULTIMATE EDITION ist das bahnbrechende erste Game der Reihe – aufwendig remastert und für Xbox One modernisiert. Seit Mitte 2015 können Fans die Ultimate Edition auf der Xbox spielen, seit 14 Tagen ist das Spiel auch auf Windows 10 verfügbar.

     

    Alle Gamer, die sich qualifizieren, erhalten ab Montag, 18.4., in mehreren Tranchen ihre Codes via Xbox Live Messaging direkt zugesendet. Die Early Access Multiplayer Beta kann bis 24. April exklusiv auf Xbox One getestet werden. Vom 25. April – 1. Mai erhalten zudem alle Xbox Live Gold-Mitglieder in einer zweiten Welle einen Zugang zur Multiplayer Beta.

    Für noch mehr Gears-Erlebnisse: Am Samstag den 23. April findet das Finale der Gears eSports ESL Pro League Season 2 im Rahmen des PAX East Events in Boston statt. Die besten GEARS OF WAR Teams kämpfen hier um den Champion-Titel. Fans können via Gears of War Twitch Channel live mitfiebern und sind mit dabei, wenn exklusiv ein neuer Wettkampfmodus für GEARS OF WAR 4 der Weltöffentlichkeit präsentiert wird. Alle Zuseher und Zuseherinnen haben außerdem die Chance eine streng limitierte GEARS OF WAR 4 Konsole zu gewinnen.

 City, die heute, 27. September im Wiener Rathaus startet.

    3 Tage lang, bis einschließlich Sonntag, 29. September sind wieder alle
Videospiele-Interessierten bei freiem Eintritt eingela­den,
 Neuerscheinungen zu testen, sich über Gefahren und Chancen der
 Videospielkultur zu informieren, an Diskussionen teilzunehmen und
einfach Spaß zu haben. Egal welches Alter – ob Kinder, Jugendliche
 oder Eltern – die Game City bietet für alle BesucherInnen das 
richtige Programm. Für die Jüngsten gibt es eine Kinderzone von
wienXtra.

    Eltern können sich bei der BuPP (Bundesprüfstelle zur 
Positivprädikatisierung von Computer- und Konsolenspielen) über
 besonders geeignete Spiele für ihre Kinder informieren. Bei der
F.R.O.G. Fachtagung (Future and Reality of Gaming) diskutieren 
internationale ExpertInnen verschiedenste Aspekte der 
Videospielkultur. Alle Gamer finden ihr Glück in den diversen
 Gamingrooms von Microsoft (incl. Xbox One), Sony (incl. PS4),
 Nintendo, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts u.a. In der Volkshalle des

und Medienkompetenz, es gibt eine eigene wienXtra-Kinderzone für
