Grand Theft Auto Online: Half a Million GTA$ Stimulus Package this Month and Earn Cash Quickly

Given some of the recent technical issues during these first days of GTA Online, and now that things are starting to look much smoother (touch wood!), we are planning to provide a special stimulus package for all who have played or will play Grand Theft Auto Online this month. We will be dropping a cool half a million GTA$ in the GTA Online bank accounts of all players this month, starting as early as next week.

‘Don’t Spend It All in One Place!’

In order to keep the current worldwide in-game economy balanced, we will be providing this GTA$ to players via two deposits of $250,000. We will announce specific dates as soon as possible, but are currently hoping to be able to make the first deposit by the end of next week (after we’ve confirmed that issues causing game progress loss have been fixed) with the second installment to happen by the end of the month. For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet.

Below are a few more details on how it will work. Stay tuned for tips on how to make the most of GTA$ cash, info on ways and places to earn more cash fast, as well as updates on all the new GTA Online content additions we’re working on for this fall and beyond.
- You must play or have played Grand Theft Auto Online at any time during the month of October 2013 in order to qualify for the GTA$500,000 deposit in your in-game bank account.
- Players will first have to install a forthcoming GTAV title update which we expect to happen next week. That title update (1.04) is expected to fix the remaining instances of issues that have caused vehicle purchase loss and will also enable the functionality through which we’ll be providing this GTA$ stimulus cash to players.
- We will announce at the Rockstar Newswire when each deposit is made.
- Each of the two GTA$250,000 deposits will be made by Rockstar and should automatically appear in the in-game GTA Online bank accounts of eligible players. Beyond downloading the forthcoming title update mentioned above, there should not be any additional special action required by eligible players to redeem.
Earn Cash Quickly

If you are ever short of enough cash to do a Job, remember that there are many ways to make quick cash – some more profitable than others.
- Hold Up any of the stores marked on the Radar. If you wear a mask you can avoid being recognised on return visits.
- Simeon often needs specific vehicles for his business – if you can find certain models he will pay for them (check your Texts).
- Non-premium vehicles can be sold to Los Santos Customs.
- Take part in Jobs with other people for bigger rewards, and win competitive events to bag even more cash.
- Armored Trucks are another good way to get cash fast, though you need to invest in Sticky Bombs in order to take them down.

Gamers accuse Rockstar of False Advertising over GTA Online

That’s right, gamers Brian McMahon and Christopher Bengston are accusing Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games of „false advertising“ and unfair competition laws in California, because they weren’t being able to play Grand Theft Auto Online when the game was released.

Here’s the full report:

Gamers were misled into buying „Grand Theft Auto V“ based on the false promise that it would allow online multiplayer interaction, a class claims.

Released last month to critical acclaim, the latest installment in the popular video game series is set in a fictional version of Southern California. Keeping in the theme of the controversial series, players can lead their characters through missions while a trail of murder and mayhem burns in their wake.

With $1 billion in sales under the game’s belt just three days after its release, Guinness World Records confirmed that „Grand Theft Auto V“ set six new sales records, including highest revenue generated by an entertainment product in 24 hours.

„GTA“ players have recently complained, however, about their inability to connect the game to the Internet – a feature the creators at Rockstar Games had allegedly promised to include.

Bruce McMahon and Christopher Bengtson hope to represent a class in a suit against Rockstar’s parent Take-Two Interactive Software for violations of California’s false advertising and unfair competition laws in a putative class action.

The lead plaintiffs say they each paid $59.99 plus tax for „GTA V“ and planned to play the game online with other players

„At the time of purchase on September 17, 2013 plaintiffs were unable to play the game as an online experience with other videogame players,“ the complaint in Riverside, Calif., states. „GTA V was not available for online play as advertised. GTA V can only be played in single player mode without the ability to interact with any other videogame player.“

McMahon and Bengtson say they would not have bought the game if they knew it wouldn’t connect to the internet.

The makers of the gaming console Playstation 3 publicly acknowledged the problems connecting „GTA V“ to the Internet, and said last week they were working with Rockstar to fix them.

The plaintiffs in the class action are represented by Rex Sofonio and James Hawkins, both from Irvine, Calif.

Ubisoft^® veröffentlichte einen neuen Trailer zu Rocksmith^® 2014 Edition, in dem der brandneue Session-Modus vorgestellt wird.

Im Session-Modus leitet der Spieler eine virtuelle Band, die sich dynamisch an sein Spielverhalten anpasst. Hierbei stehen ihm 70 verschiedene Instrumente zur Verfügung, um die eigene Band zusammenzustellen. Der Session-Modus ist ein etwas anspruchsvolleres Feature, an das aber auch unerfahrene Spieler im Verlauf unterschiedlicher Übungen herangeführt werden. Experten können direkt einsteigen und das gesamte Spektrum des Gitarrenhalses nutzen.

Drakengard 3 coming exclusively to PS3

Square Enix has just confirmed that Drakengard 3 will arrive to the US and Europe exclusively on Playstation 3 in 2014. The price will be $49.99 and it will arrive also digitally to PSN.

According to VG247:

„The prequel to the original Drakengard, Drakengard 3 transports players to a medieval world where six goddess sisters known as “Intoners” have brought peace to the earth with their power to manipulate magic through song.

However, the eldest sister, Zero, attempts to murder her younger sisters with the help of her dragon companion, Mikhail.

Players will take part in areal battles to unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions.“

GTA Online Game Progress Loss and Other Issues + the only Game with Seven Guinness World Records

A new title update to address the reported issues of game progress loss in GTA Online as well as other technical fixes, tweaks and enhancements is now available for PlayStation 3, and we expect it to be available by tomorrow at the latest for Xbox 360. This title update will resolve the cause of players losing their gameplay progress except for some specific instances where players purchase a vehicle and the save does not occur due to a cloud save failure. A fix for that particular issue is being worked on and we will provide an update as soon as we know when this will be resolved.

Fixes in this title update include:
- Fixes multiple issues causing character deletion or other loss of progress
- Fixes issues causing infinite loading, infinite sky cams, and missing interface options between jobs
- Fixes an issue causing the „replay“ option to be locked out on certain jobs
- Fixes an issue where a player would become stuck in the mod garage when respraying a Sanchez motor bike
- Fixes an issue where the Player became stuck inside Los Santos Customs during Online tutorial flow.
- Fixes an issue causing the loss of guns and ammo
- Fixes issues causing GTA races ending early because of players spawning too far ahead
- Fixes issues in Last Team Standing where sessions would not progress past the lobby
- Fixes issues with network errors when joining Last Team Standing using Quick Job
- Added clarifications around when a player is using a temporary character in GTA Online during Rockstar Cloud server outages
- Adjusts the monetary penalty for being killed in a One on One match
We apologize for the problems some players have been experiencing with lost characters or game progress due to this issue – please stay tuned for updates as we continue to investigate this.

In the meantime, please always remember to save your game before leaving GTA Online, otherwise you may lose any progress since your last save – this can be done by exiting back to Single Player through the pause menu. Until downloading the title update above and in order to minimize the chances of any further data loss, if at any point you receive the message “Rockstar Cloud Servers are unavailable”, please do not either select the „Retry“ option or create a temporary Character to play GTA Online. Instead, you should exit to GTAV Story Mode and try entering GTA Online again through the menu in Story Mode. Please also stay tuned or subscribe to the GTA Online Status Updates article at the Rockstar Support site for the latest word on common known technical issues and fixes.

GTA Online third patch released – Violent Duct patched to 3000$ no more Retry possible!

Rockstar North has just launched a new patch (1.03) for GTA V that resolves the XP cash farming issues some players have been exploiting. The patch weighs in at 39MB on PS3 and 59MB on Xbox 360. The patch notes are yet to be revealed.

Attention PC players! This may interest you. In a recent interview with Larry Hyrb, as known ad Major Nelson, he has revealed that the Xbox One could feature keyboard and mouse support if game developers demand it. Moreover, they are even pleased to help with the implementation.

He said:

“We’ll certainly have this great SDK for developers to do what they like,” “If that’s something they’re interested in doing, we’ll certainly help them do that. Certainly it’s possible, but we don’t have anything to announce at this time.”

“We kind of have this concept of when you’re playing a PC game you’re leaning forward“. “With an Xbox game, sometimes you lean back. You’re just kinda having fun. And I don’t want to incite the religious debate that will ensue, because I’m very aware. Far Cry 4 is in the works

In a recent interview that Cliff Martinez did with Lost in the Multiplex, he casually revealed that he is working on the next Far Cry 4

According to VG247:

According to Martinez he is working on “a video game called Far Cry 4,” along with a new TV series from Steven Soderbergh.

Ubisoft has yet to announce the game as being in the works, officially, but considering the success of the last outing, Far Cry 3, it’s not much of a stretch.

SEASON-PASS UND DLC FÜR ASSASSIN’S CREED® IV BLACK FLAG™

Ubisoft^® kündigte an, nach dem Verkaufsstart einen DLC für Assassin’s Creed^® IV Black Flag™ zu veröffentlichen, der für Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3, PlayStation®4, Wii U^TM und Windows PC erscheinen wird.

Der DLC von Assassin’s Creed^® IV Black Flag™ bietet zusätzliche Einzelspieler-Missionen wie “Schrei nach Freiheit”, eine in sich geschlossene Geschichte in neun Missionen über Edward Kenways erstem Maat Adewale.

Bereits zum Verkaufsstart des Spiels wird ein Season-Pass für PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 und PC erhältlich sein, der die folgenden herunterladbaren Inhalte mit einem Preisnachlass von 20 Prozent zum Kauf ermöglicht:

–      „Schrei nach Freiheit“: Als Sklave geboren, gewann Adewale seine Freiheit als Pirat und erstem Maat unter Edward Kenway an Bord der Jackdaw. Fünfzehn Jahre später strandet Adewale, mittlerweile ein ausgebildeter Assassine, in Saint-Domingue und muss sich ohne Waffen und Crew seinem ganz eigenen Abenteuer stellen.

Ubisoft^® kündigte heute die Veröffentlichung eines Bundles für die PlayStation^®3 an. Dieses beinhaltet die Konsole und eine Version von Assassin’s Creed^® IV Black Flag™, das am 31. Oktober 2013 erscheinen wird.

Kunden, die Assassin’s Creed^® IV Black Flag™ für PlayStation^®3 oder PlayStation^®4 kaufen, können sich nach Veröffentlichung des Spiels über das PlayStation Network 60 Minuten zusätzliches Gameplay herunterladen.

Assassin’s Creed^® IV Black Flag™ erzählt die Geschichte von Edward Kenway, einem jungen Briten mit einem Hang zu Gefahr und Abenteuer. Er fällt von der Kaperei für die Royal Navy in die Piraterie, als der Krieg zwischen den großen Mächten endet. Edward ist ein leidenschaftlicher Pirat und erfahrener Kämpfer, der sich bald in dem alten Kampf zwischen Assassinen und Templer wiederfindet. Das Spiel ist zu Beginn des 18. New TV advert of Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag on the spot! At least for the North Americans. The commercial focuses on the protagonist Edward Kenway and his Tattoos and adventures as a fearless pirate.

Calling all to unite under the black flag with Assassin’s Creed 4! Watch Captain Edward Kenway, a pirate trained by Assassins, rise up against authority to become the most feared pirate in the Caribbean. See his adventurous story unfold with each chapter explained through his unforgettable tattoos.

In Europe, the game is expected to release for Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 1, while the Wii U, PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions will launch on November 22.

Xbox One to automatically record gameplay when an achievement is unlocked

It seems that in addition to the 5 minutes of continuous recording, the Xbox One will record the moment when you unlock and achievement. Moreover, Microsoft opened the possibility to devs of also recording player’s reaction with Kinect when this occurs.
