PS5 and new Xbox coming in 5 – 6 years

Have you already bought your new Playstation 4 or Xbox One? Well, you should know that according to executive vice president of EA Studios, the Playstation 5 and the new Xbox (Xbox Two?) will arrive in five – six years.

Patrick Soderlund said to MCV that:

“This console cycle [360/PS3] may have gone on a little bit longer than I would have wanted. At the same time, you have seen games like The Last of Us and GTA V at the end of a cycle which perhaps you would not have expected a few years ago. But a five, six year gap is what I expect going forward.”
