Spotify is introducing an improved experience making it easier to find the perfect soundtrack, including recommended music based on your listening, and an integration with Cortana voice commands for even more seamless control while you play – all captured in a new razor sharp design.
“Hey Cortana, play my Discover Weekly on Spotify”
Never lose a beat with the new Spotify integration with Cortana (currently only available in the US). Simply say “Hey Cortana, play my playlist on Spotify”, allowing for seamless voice control of your music without taking your fingers off the controller or pausing your play. You can also play, skip and pause songs – all without leaving the game!
Easier access—easier discovery
The updated experience with Spotify makes accessing your recently played songs, your ‘Made for You’ hub, and your library easier than ever before. Once logged in, Spotify listeners can instantly start the music via the Spotify App in the Xbox One Guide and enjoy additional features like shuffle and repeat for those hours-long gaming sessions.
