Microsoft is getting Fortnite: Battle Royale players together for tournaments every Friday over the next several months, starting April 20. Players in the US (including Puerto Rico), Canada, and Australia can head to their local Microsoft Store’s ASUS ROG Arena and play the game on PC with the others in attendance. Of course, there are prizes at stake for those who land that Victory Royale.

The tournaments go from 5:30 PM – 9 PM local time. From April 20 – May 11, the tournaments will be for Solos; from May 18 until June 8, the tournaments will be for Duos; and from June 15 – July 6, you’ll be able to play in Squads at the events. The grand prize, each week, is gift cards totalling 2,500 V-Bucks for each player on the winning team.

Players are provided with high-powered laptops, mice, headsets, and an optional PC-compatible Xbox One controller, and if you want to take part you need to pre-register on Microsoft’s Smash.gg website. You’ll still need to show up on time to the Microsoft Store also, as the tournament is first-come, first-served.

In other Fortnite news, the game has just reintroduced an improved 50v50 mode in its latest update, along with a series of other bug fixes and tweaks. As an added incentive to play this weekend, the game is also rewarding players with double XP until Sunday, April 22.
