December 1st is world AIDS day. To show our support, December 1st — 7th Twitch is joining forces with (Coca-Cola)RED in the fight to end AIDS — and we hope you’re in too.
On December 2nd from 11:00am to 5:00pm PST, join us on the Arena of Valor channel for the (Coca-Cola)RED Game-A-Thon. Eight of your favorite streamers will square off in an Arena of Valor tournament to raise money for the fight against AIDS. Coca-Cola will be generously matching your donations up to $50,000 for the entire week!
Are you a streamer that wants to show support from your own channel? Here’s how you can do it:
- On December 1st, set up the new command !RED with your chatbot (moobot, nightbot, etc.)
- Have the chatbot respond to the command with the following line: “Donate & join RED in the fight against AIDS. https://tiltify.com/+red/gameathon”
- Put !RED in the title of your stream, so chat knows to try it out
Every 2 minutes a teenager is infected with HIV. In sub-Saharan Africa it costs just 30 cents a day for the life-saving medicine — your donation goes a long way. Your support will help provide HIV testing, counseling, education, and care services to families in sub-Saharan Africa. We hope you’ll join us.
