Float like a butterfly, bite like a snake

Yagami has been adding to his repertoire since we last saw him. In addition to the return of the Tiger style, an offensive powerhouse designed to dismantle single targets, and the Crane style, an acrobatic and nimble form emphasizing sweeping strikes to take on groups of foes, Yagami has refined a new Snake style that takes the momentum and power of his enemies and turns it against them. This new defensive style allows Yagami to employ a more defensive framework, opening new avenues of attack against aggressive foes. With a variety of joint locks, throws, and strikes so powerful they cause enemies to pass out from fear, this new “soft-handed” approach from Yagami might be the most powerful yet.

A detective is only as good as his tools

The key to any good investigation is clear observation, and there’s only so much that can be gleaned with sharp eyes and ears. In addition to employing many of his signature techniques, like his trusty drone, the Yagami Detective Agency has added some new tech to their repertoire. Get ears on far away targets utilizing the Noise Amp or find hidden electronics with the Signal Detector. Deploy man’s best friend on the case with the new Detective Dog and put Yagami’s athleticism to the test with new parkour abilities.

Plenty to explore off the clock

Make sure to take some time to explore the modern playground of Yokohama with plenty of the signature side activities and minigames the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio team has become famous for. Whether it’s participating in several high school clubs like the Dance Team and Robotics Club, hanging out at the arcade and playing Sega classics like Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, Fighting Vipers, or Sonic the Fighters. You can also kick back at the office with Master System classics like Fantasy Zone and Alex Kidd in Miracle World. Nothing beats getting around town on a skateboard and visiting the local skate park, getting stocked up at the local supermarket or trying your luck at the local gambling den — there’s always plenty to do in the neon-soaked cityscape of Yokohama.

So lace up your sneakers, charge up the drone, and grab a disguise — we’ve got a case to solve in Lost Judgment!
