    Ab dieser Woche profitieren Game Pass Ultimate- und PC Game Pass-Nutzer*innen noch stärker von ihrer Mitgliedschaft – mit In-Game-Vorteilen für Free-to-Play-Spiele.

    Mitglieder erhalten Gegenstände wie kosmetische Inhalte, Charaktere, In-Game-Währung und mehr für zusätzliche Spiele, darunter Heroes of the Storm, Naraka: Bladepoint und The Finals. Und ab April 2025 kommen noch weitere Vorteile hinzu – etwa für Call of Duty: Warzone und Enlisted. Durch saisonale Content-Drops gibt es für Mitglieder ständig neue Vorteile, auf die sie sich freuen können.

    Diese neuen Inhalte erweitern die bereits bestehenden In-Game-Vorteile, wie etwa die Freischaltung aller Champions in League of Legends, sechs Skins in Overwatch 2, alle Agenten in Valorant und mehr. Egal ob Individualisierung, Personalisierung oder Fortschritt – im Game Pass erhalten Spieler*innen noch mehr.

    Um auf all diese In-Game-Vorteile zugreifen zu können, müssen Game Pass Ultimate- und PC Game Pass-Mitglieder sich lediglich mit ihrem Xbox-Profil einloggen oder ihr Xbox-Profil mit dem jeweiligen Spielkonto verknüpfen.

    Anschließend musst Du das Spiel einfach über Xbox auf dem PC oder der Konsole starten – Deine zusätzlichen Vorteile stehen Dir dann im Spiel zur Verfügung. Für Game Pass Ultimate-Mitglieder sind diese Vorteile beim Spielen mit Xbox plattformübergreifend nutzbar – in der Cloud, auf der Konsole und auf dem PC.

    • As part of the Initiator class, Tejo specializes in flushing out enemies with a unique kit consisting of information gathering, explosions, and a concuss.
    • Those who have strategic game sense and understand how the enemy plays will be able to thrive on this Agent.
    • Tejo, like all Valorant Agents, is unlocked for those with a Game Pass membership.

    “This should be simple enough. I flush them out. You finish them.” This statement from Tejo perfectly encompasses our newest Initiator-class Agent, the well-dressed man of action.

    Hailing from Colombia, Tejo will undoubtedly shake up the gameplay with his unique kit that flushes out enemies using a top-down approach. Tejo will require you to think proactively and strategically–analyzing the situation mid-round and using his abilities to help clear the way for your team.

    Tejo’s abilities, which revolve around flushing out enemies, consist of 3 outputs: information gathering, damage, and concuss effects:

    • Stealth Drone: Throw and possess a stealthed drone that, upon activation, creates a small sonar pulse at its location.
    • Guided Salvo: Pull up a map to target one or more missiles towards a location. Upon reaching their location, the missiles explode twice, pushing enemies off of angles.
    • Special Delivery: Toss a grenade that bounces once (sticks to players immediately), sticks, then winds up and explodes. Explosion concusses.
    • Armageddon: Cast a wave of explosions, forcing enemies to move in the direction of your choosing.

    The perfect teammates for Tejo will be those who can quickly follow up on the space he creates. Let’s take a closer look at how that’s done.

    Stealth Drone

    Whether your team is attacking and attempting to take a site or defending and playing retake, having a drone can be extremely impactful. Especially on maps where there are a lot of corners to clear, it allows your team to take space safely or be prepared to fight for that space. Since drones are great pieces of utility, the enemy team is often prepared to shoot down whatever you’re using to take space. Tejo’s Stealth Drone is unique in that it’s invisible at long range, giving you more time to grab information about where the enemy team could be.

    “Drones typically give a lot of baseline value of information gathering, but we wanted to give this drone a little spin where the information is secondary, and the effect of suppressing an enemy is why you take this drone over others,” Game Designer Ryan Cousart tells us.

    When we asked the devs, “Why rockets?”, Cousart smiles and says, “Because rockets are sweet.”

    In addition to rockets being sweet, they made sense thematically for what the devs were trying to accomplish.

    “When you start putting things like a map targeter or world placements on Agents, you force people to think about the game more proactively and more strategically. We wanted something to lead your team in and show you the effect of telling your team, ‘Hey something is going to happen.’ We could’ve used anything but we landed on rockets for these reasons,” Cousart adds.

    Tejo’s abilities, which revolve around flushing out enemies, consist of 3 outputs: information gathering, damage, and concuss effects. “There’s a lot to consider and be careful about when deciding the output of an ability. Damage as an output is a lot more permanent than a concuss or a flash. It’s worthwhile to explore though and I think we’ve landed in a pretty good spot but that’s one we’ll need to keep a really sharp eye,” states Cousart.

    Special Delivery

    “With how naturally ‘guns down’ his other abilities are, Tejo really needed something that was just simple to understand and simple to cast but still captured that feeling of being explosive but directed. I wanted Special Delivery to be a quick, like, ‘Let’s fight’ button”, states Cousart.

    Unlike the other abilities where Tejo needs time to set up the play, Special Delivery allows him to initiate a fight quickly in the moment. Whether or not an enemy is there for the concuss, using the ability there will give them the confidence they need to take that space. One thing is for certain – even if players can use the ability quickly, we won’t be surprised when players are making fancy lineups to get that perfect angle to land on that perfect circle.

    Armageddon

    “Tejo’s rockets are really only valuable if you’re following up on the pressure that’s created. But the sweet spot is when you fire your rockets and you force people to move and then while they’re moving, you’re able to capitalize on them having to reposition. Tejo would be great with another Agent that can go in very fast, like Neon, who can capitalize on the distance he casts his abilities from,” notes Character Producer, John Goscicki.

    Tejo’s ult, Armageddon, is something enemies will need to be aware of round-to-round. Watch that scoreboard and check how many ult points he’s away from being able to use it, since it can heavily impact the flow of a round. The wave of explosions will force enemies to move in a direction of Tejo’s choosing or at least have players moving further back, since the site will be difficult to hold. This will give his team the perfect opportunity to follow up and take control of the space he just created.

    Everyone can play Tejo but those with strategic game sense can make this new Agent really shine. All of Valorant’s Agents are unlocked for Game Pass members, so step up to the challenge and learn to use him to your advantage before everyone else.

    In the words of Tejo, “We can stand around all day talking about killing them… or we just do it.” So what are you waiting for?

    Tejo, der stets gut gekleidete Mann der Tat, ist offiziell beim VALORANT-Protokoll aufgenommen worden. Der Kolumbianer Tejo wird mit seinem einzigartigen Fähigkeitenset, mit dem er Gegner mit seinem Top-Down-Ansatz ausschaltet, das Gameplay zweifellos gehörig aufmischen. Als Tejo musst du die Situation in der Mitte einer Runde genau analysieren und seine Fähigkeiten einsetzen, um den Weg für dein Team freizumachen. Wo werden sich die Gegner wohl aufhalten, wenn man über ihren Spielstil nachdenkt? Kannst du ihren Standort zu deinem Vorteil einsetzen und sie in eine verwundbare Position treiben?

    „Wir hatten hier die Möglichkeit für eine Spielweise, bei der der Initiator die Karte ein wenig anders betrachtet – mit einem weiter gefassten Überblick, anstatt sie nacheinander Winkel für Winkel einzunehmen. Wir wollten ein paar Fähigkeiten hinzufügen, deren Auswirkungen unter anderem darin bestehen, Gegner aus einem Areal herauszutreiben. Das ist echt spannend, weil dadurch bestimmte Fenster geschaffen werden, in denen sein Team einen klaren Vorteil hat“, erläutert Ryan „Rycou“ Cousart, der Game Designer für Tejo.

    Initiatoren müssen sehr präzise vorgehen. Wir haben das alle schon gemacht: Agenten-Guides auf YouTube angesehen, ein eigenes Spiel gestartet, um ein Lineup zu testen und durch Mauern zu ghosten, um nachzusehen, ob es an der richtigen Stelle gelandet ist. Tejo bietet Spielern von Initiatoren etwas Neues, indem er ihnen ermöglicht, Unterstützungen mithilfe der Karte in genau ausgewählten Bereichen zu platzieren, anstatt sich auf die pixelgenauen Lineups zu verlassen, auf die einige der großflächigeren Unterstützungen angewiesen sind. Dadurch kann man seine Ziele präziser auswählen, hat jedoch auch den Nachteil, dass der Wirkungsbereich kleiner ist.

    Damit diese präzise Unterstützung ihre volle Wirkung entfalten kann, benötigt Tejo aber ein paar Informationen. Und wie andere Initiatoren auch ist er gut darin, sich diese selbst zu beschaffen. „Da Tejo Informationen darüber liefern kann, wo sich der Gegner aufhält, bringt er

    seinem Team einen konstant hohen Nutzen“, merkt John Goscicki, Agent Team Lead, an. „Tejo ist einer der wenigen Initiatoren, die über keine Blendung verfügen, also ist er im Zusammenspiel mit anderen Initiatoren wie Breach oder KAY/O noch effektiver, mit denen man diese wirklich schnellen, explosiven Aktionen durchführen kann.“

    Die Idee, dass dieser Initiator ein Agent ist, der ein Team mit seinem ausgeprägten Gespür für das Spiel anführt, geht mit der Idee einer erfahrenen Person einher – Erfahrung auf dem Schlachtfeld, aber auch im Leben.

    „Wir benutzten oft den Ausdruck ‚Mann der Tat‘. Wir haben alle diese Filme gesehen oder Bücher gelesen, in denen der Held mit dem schicken Hemd oder Sakko auftaucht und alle fertigmacht“, lacht Goscicki. „Er ist so einer dieser Profis – mit aufgeknöpftem Hemd und bereit für die Schlacht. Er ist nicht wie Chamber, für den jedes Detail seiner Bekleidung wichtig ist, um den perfekten Schuss zu landen. Tejo hingegen läuft rein und durch all die Explosionen hindurch und deshalb muss alles locker und bequem sitzen.“

    Tejo kann von jedem gespielt werden, aber nur bei Spielern mit gutem strategischem Spielverständnis wird er sein volles Potential entfalten. Stelle dich der Herausforderung und lerne vor allen anderen, wie du ihn zu deinem Vorteil einsetzen kannst. Als wäre der neue Agent nicht schon spannend genug, kannst du dir auch die neuen „PlayStation Plus“-Angebote ansehen, bei denen du dir verschiedene Ingame-Gegenstände wie z. B.     Wenn Du gerne zwischen PC und Konsole wechselst oder Valorant auf dem PC gespielt hast, aber lieber auf der Konsole spielst, dann mach Dir keine Sorgen – wir übernehmen das für Dich. Deine Freundesliste, Deine Sammlung (Skins, Spieler*innenkarten, Gun Buddies usw.), Deine Fortschritte im Battle Pass und die Freischaltung von Agent*innen werden übernommen. Valorant wird kein Crossplay zwischen Konsole und PC unterstützen, aber wenn Du Freund*innen hast, die auf anderen Konsolen spielen, könnt ihr Euch beide in die Warteschlange einreihen und gemeinsam den Ranglistenkampf bestreiten.

    Die Limited Beta startet am 14. Juni in den folgenden Regionen: Europa, Japan, Kanada und USA. Im Laufe der Limited und Open Beta werden weitere Regionen hinzukommen.     Bist Du Mitglied im Xbox Game Pass, werden alle Agent*innen direkt für Dich verfügbar sein. Außerdem werden von uns neu veröffentlichte Agent*innen automatisch direkt freigeschaltet und Du kannst sofort mit ihnen spielen. 

    In jeder Episode aktualisieren wir unseren Kartenpool, damit die Spieler*innen auf neuen Karten spielen können. Außerdem passen wir die Karten, die wir austauschen, bei Bedarf an. Wir möchten, dass alle Spieler*innen auf dem neuesten Stand sind und über denselben Kartenpool verfügen, wie die jetzigen Spieler*innen. Aber wir wissen, dass so viel Inhalt auch zu viel sein kann. Deshalb werden wir unseren Kartenpool im Laufe der Beta erweitern, um Dir nach und nach die Karten vorzustellen und Dir Zeit zu geben, zu lernen, wie man sie spielt:

    Riot Games attended Summer Game Fest today, and announced that Valorant is coming to Xbox Series X|S this year, and our Limited Beta will be starting June 14!

    Valorant is a 5v5 character-based tactical FPS where precise gunplay meets unique Agent abilities, creating the perfect sandbox for you to blend skill and creativity and create your own clutch moments. Whenever you play Valorant, there’s this special moment where everything will just click. Your teammate will throw out a Skye flash for you, you’ll dash into site as Jett, get crisp one taps, reset your dash and look for more. Or maybe you’re left in a 1v5 situation, but you’ve got your utility and your aim is feeling clean on the day, and you clutch up for your team, everyone getting hyped in comms for you.

    We like to call that the Valorant moment, where creativity meets clutch. And it was our dev team’s main goal when we were bringing Valorant to console. We wanted to bring it over only if you could feel that same rush with a controller in your hand.

    Our global community has grown over the past four years, more than we ever could have imagined. We love seeing their clips, cosplays, fan art, montages, and more. And that’s honestly what excited us most about our Limited Beta launch for console. We can’t wait to get Valorant in more players’ hands, and can’t wait to see what content you’ll create. You will be a fresh set of eyes on our game, and we know you’ll come up with new creative ways to play, think of new ways to combine abilities, and clutch rounds.

    Valorant is a live service game. We have updates every two weeks, where we balance the game, and launch new content. You’ll be getting the same patches at the same time on console as PC. So with the next update, you’ll get to enjoy the new bundle balance updates, and more with everyone else!

    If you are someone who likes to swap between playing on PC and console, or you’ve been a Valorant player on PC but prefer to play on console, no worries – we’ve got your back. Your Friends List, Collection (Skins, Player Cards, Gun Buddies, etc), Battle Pass progress, and Agent unlocks, will all carry over. While Valorant will not be crossplay between console and PC, if you have friends who play on other consoles, you both can queue up and hit the ranked grind together.

    Our Limited Beta begins on June 14 in the following regions: USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Throughout our Limited and Open Beta more regions will be made available and we’ll continue to update availability throughout our roll out. If you want to hop into game, you can sign up to join the Limited Beta now at beta.playvalorant.com. If your region isn’t listed, and you’re interested in the Limited Beta coming to your region, we encourage you to still sign up. This will ensure you’re registered if your region opens up during the Limited Beta, and will help us gather interests from all countries.

    If the Limited Beta is your first time playing Valorant or making a Valorant account, when you load in you’ll have five Agents unlocked for you, which is our standard for all new accounts. You’ll be able to unlock more as you play games, but if you have Xbox Game Pass, all Agents will be unlocked for you. If you have Game Pass it will also automatically unlock new Agents for you on day one as well, so whenever we launch our next Agent you’ll be able to play them the minute they go live.

    Every Episode, we update our Map pool so that players can play on new Maps, and we can make adjustments to the ones we swap out, if they’re needed. We want to get you all caught up to speed and have the same Map pool our current players have, but we know that that much content could be too overwhelming. So, over the course of the Limited Beta, we’ll be rolling out our Map pool so that we can introduce you to them, and give you time to learn how to play them out:

    Wir freuen uns sehr, euch mitteilen zu können, dass das elektrisierende, kreative und actiongeladene Gameplay von Valorant nun auch für PS5 verfügbar ist. Wir können es kaum erwarten, dass ihr alle an unserer Limited Beta teilnehmt, die am 14. Juni beginnt!

    Valorant ist ein 5v5-Charakter-basierter taktischer FPS, in dem präzises Gunplay auf einzigartige Agentenfähigkeiten trifft. Valorant ist mehr als nur Waffen und Kugeln … Versteht uns nicht falsch, ihr könnt definitiv einige verrückte Outplays mit euren Waffen machen (fünf Kugeln, fünf Gegner, fünf One-Taps… kein Problem), aber Valorant ist so viel mehr als das. In jedem Spiel von Valorant wählt ihr einen Agenten aus unserer ständig wachsenden, unverschämt globalen Liste, und jeder Agent ist mit einzigartigen Fähigkeiten ausgestattet.

    Kreativität trifft Griff

    Jeder Agent verfügt über eine andere Ausrüstung, mit der ihr euer Waffenspiel zur Geltung bringen könnt. Keine zwei Agenten werden sich gleich spielen, so wie auch keine zwei Montagen in Valorant gleich aussehen werden. Als wir anfänglich darüber nachdachten, Valorant auf die PS5 zu bringen, ging es nie um die technischen Aspekte der Entwicklung eines neuen Spiels für eine neue Plattform, sondern darum, das Spielgefühl von Valorant zu bewahren. Sobald ihr Valorant spielt und euch mit dem Gameplay vertraut gemacht habt, gibt es einen besonderen Moment, in dem es einfach Klick macht. Momente, in denen ihr allein und in der Unterzahl seid, aber einen Weg findet, die Chancen zu überwinden und die Runde zu gewinnen, während deine Teamkollegen schweigend zusehen – bevor sie in Jubel ausbrechen. Das sind die Momente, die Valorant zu etwas Besonderem machen, wo Kreativität auf Grip trifft. Und wir sind so froh, dass wir diese Erfahrung auf die PS5 bringen und mehr Spieler in unserer Community willkommen heißen können.

    Die Schauplätze

    Zusätzlich zu den einzigartigen Agenten, Fähigkeiten und Waffen bietet Valorant auch eine Reihe von Karten. Jede von ihnen ist ein Spielplatz für euch, auf dem ihr euer kreatives Denken unter Beweis stellen könnt. Es gibt auch verschiedene Modi, die ihr ausprobieren könnt, egal ob ihr ein schnelles Match spielen oder in der Rangliste aufsteigen wollt, es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Derzeit haben wir für die kompetitive Warteschlange einen Kartenpool, der alle paar Monate wechselt. Aber alle unsere bestehenden Karten sind auch in den nicht kompetitiven Modi verfügbar. Alle Inhalte, die derzeit für Valorant auf dem PC verfügbar sind, werden auch auf der PS5 verfügbar sein, und wann immer wir einen Patch veröffentlichen, werden wir ihn für alle zur gleichen Zeit bereitstellen. Wenn also eine neue Karte oder ein neuer Agent auf den Markt kommt, wird jeder, der Valorant spielt, sie zur gleichen Zeit erhalten.

    Bei Valorant dreht sich alles darum, wie ihr spielen wollt. Von den Agenten, die ihr auswählt, über die Waffe, die ihr bevorzugt (wir bevorzugen die Vandal), bis hin zu der Art und Weise, wie ihr eure Sammlung anpasst. Wir freuen uns, euch in unserer Community willkommen zu heißen, und können es kaum erwarten, all eure kreativen Clips zu sehen und sind bereit, Valorant in eure Hände zu geben.

    Unsere begrenzte Beta wird am 14. Juni in den folgenden Regionen beginnen: USA, Kanada, Teile von Europa und Japan.     This Valorant fan made his own functional Boom Bot replica

    Valorant is a free-to-play 5v5 first-person shooter game. As in most shooters, players want to avoid getting shot. One way they can prevent incoming fire is to use Boom Bot, which is a little robot that will drive forward and chase enemies before exploding — while the player stays safely hidden out of sight. While he probably won’t be getting into any gunfights, Danny Lum built his own functional replica of the Boom Bot.

    Boom Bot’s behavior in the game is quite simple. When deployed, it will drive straight forward until it either collides with a wall or detects an opponent. If it runs into a wall, it turns like a Roomba. If it sees a target, it will begin chasing them. Lum was able to recreate that functionality in a conventional two-wheel-drive rover robot. The robot was designed in Solidworks CAD to match in the in-game Boom Bot and then 3D-printed.

    An Arduino Nano board controls the two drive motors that rotate special irregular wheels to give the robot wobbly movement like in the game. It also responds to information from two sets of sensors. A trio of ultrasonic sensors handle obstacle detection and tell the robot which way to rotate. An OpenMV face detection camera finds humans so the Boom Bot replica can chase them. An LCD screen gives Boom Bot an emotive face and a servo-actuated hatch on top pops open during targeting.

    The final touch was a pneumatic powder puffer system that replaces the in-game explosion.
