SpeedGaming, the leader in competitive speedrunning events, has kicked off a wild month of tournaments, races, and featured events across 4 different channels! SpeedGaming December Madness has a little bit of everything from some of your favorite franchises including Mario, Zelda, Mega Man, Sonic, Final Fantasy, Pokémon, and Castlevania! Check out their schedule which is updated frequently with new additions.
Featured Tournaments:
- Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 64: If you love 3D Mario, SpeedGaming has all the 3D Mario you can handle! Witness the first ever Super Mario Odyssey tournament, where you will see players blaze through the game in just over an hour! Then check out the all time classic Super Mario 64 tourney featuring some of the best players in the world.
- The Legend of Zelda (NES) and A Link to the Past randomizer; Breath of the Wild: Explore two classic Zelda games in new and exciting ways with two randomizer tournaments. Item locations are randomly swapped and players must explore and use creative problem solving to complete their quests. If you like your Zelda in 3D then check out the Breath of the Wild All Dungeons tournament.
- Mega Man and Mega Man X: Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Mega Man by watching competitors use game-breaking techniques to literally zip through the NES original on their way to taking down Dr. Wily in around 20 minutes. Mega Man X racers will be skipping heart tanks for speed which means high risk and heavy tension throughout.
- Final Fantasy VI: For RPG fans SpeedGaming has a great entry from the Final Fantasy series, but in a shorter format where the goal is to defeat Kefka at Narshe.
