Sharpen Your Skills in the Jump Force Open Beta on Xbox One

Our world is being attacked! With villains from Shonen Jump manga wreaking havoc on Earth, it’s up to you to defend this place we call home. Luckily, the Jump Force is here to help, made up of heroes from iconic properties and storylines we all know and love, this exciting mashup of characters from epochal manga such as “Naruto,” “Dragon Ball Z,” “One Piece” and more, gives you the ultimate chance to join your favorite heroes and save our world. Each battle will not only allow you to bring out the strengths and signature moves of each character but will also put your skills on forefront of the battlefield.

With that, we’re excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming open beta for Jump Force. The first session will begin January 18 at 3:00 a.m. PDT and the final fourth session ending January 20 at 3:00 p.m. PDT before its release on February 15. The open beta will be separated into four different three-hour sessions. For your convenience, we’ve detailed the full schedule below:

Session 1: Friday, January 18 at 4:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. PDT
Session 2: Friday, January 18 at 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. PDT
Session 3: Saturday, January 19 at 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PDT
Session 4: Sunday, January 20 at 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. PDT

The open beta will feature a matchmaking process in an online vs lobby where players will be able to jump into battle. Get ready to fight in stages set in Mexico, New York, Namek, Hong Kong, and Matterhorn.

Then, experience Jump Force’s epic 3v3 tag battle system and prove to your friends who is the strongest. Combat gets even more strategic when you must carefully and thoughtfully position yourself during battle to pull off intricate combos and tactfully outsmart your opponent. Feel free to utilize the 3D circular plane to your advantage; teleport behind your enemy and as they attack, stop their attempt with a signature counter from Hisoka or Gon. Or, when the enemy is getting too comfortable with your techniques, switch your character to throw them off balance with a character who has a completely different fighting style. This freedom to pick and choose who battles at a moment’s notice will help you sharpen your skills, and it’s what separates Jump Force’s combat system from a traditional fighter.

Players who take part in this open beta can choose between 17 characters like Goku, Vegeta, Luffy, Naruto, Sasuke, Ichigo, Gon, and many more of your favorites!

Players will also finally get a taste of what we’ve all been waiting for – custom avatars! During the beta, we’ve prepared a small taste of Jump Force’s extensive character creation for everyone to experience. Choose from 6 preset avatars that mix clothes and signature moves of your favorite characters, such as Goku’s Spirit Bomb with Naruto’s Rasengan, and Kenshiro’s Hokuto Hundred Rending Fists with Sasuke’s Chidori. Then, add on Luffy’s straw hat with some of Pegasus’ armor, and tackle your opponents headfirst. And when the OBT is all set and done, get ready for the full suite of customization options when the game launches on Xbox One February 15!
