PSN server problems at PS4 launch

Was Sony ready for the Playstation 4 launch? Well, it seems that some users reported PSN problems with the error code NW-31453-6 or NP-3500-8 and the message “The network connection has been lost.”

PSN was down around 1 hour or so but do you think Sony should be more prepared for a big launch like this?

UPDATE: The PS4 overload seems to affect also Playstation 3 users, as the connection time is now slow as hell and connecting back in fails at time. Also Twitch service has gone down because there are too many users trying out the new Playstation 4 share video streaming feature.
