HexHog looks like a space rover of sorts at first glance, but it’s actually a 6-wheeled, all-terrain off-road wheelchair. This 36-volt lithium ion battery-powered, joystick-controlled ATV boasts a flexing chassis that provides high-level stability and the ability to move at 8.5mph over any kind of terrain. Its innovative seat transfer system advances and lowers the driving seat to a position for independent transfer from a wheelchair. That’s not all, the sealed 6×6 transmission and raised drive motors work in conjunction with the flexing chassis to enable HexHog to tread water, as well as traverse sand, mud and even snow.
