Good news for all Extension developers! We’re making it easier to enable Twitch functionality within Extensions, starting with follows.

You can now prompt users to follow specific channels within your Extension while maintaining the flexibility of creating a design and experience that matches your Extension and use case.

Follows are just the start, and we’ll continue putting the power of the Twitch toolbox into your hands. We’re looking forward to helping you integrate additional types of Twitch actions into your Extensions–such as username sharing, following an event, subscribing, or cheering.

Let us know what actions you’d like to see added next in the forums or the chat server, and check out the “Twitch actions” documentation to learn more.
