Hi everyone, I’m Ryosuke Hara, the producer of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. Now with the street date of January 17, 2020 announced, I can’t wait for all the Dragon Ball fans, both old and new, core and casual, to try the game out!
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action RPG that allows you to experience the story of Dragon Ball Z on a scale like never before. From the most epic events, to moments that only the most diehard fans will recognize, the sheer amount of story the game covers, goes far beyond any of the previous Dragon Ball games we have released.
And speaking of diehard fans, we’ll be featuring original stories told for the very first time, through unique sub-quests and dialogue. Some settings have been created by the author, Akira Toriyama. So, I assure you that even the Dragon Ball experts will have something new to discover.
We also recently answered a question that fans have been dying to know. Yes, the Majin Buu Arc is included in the game. So, what are you waiting for? Get ready to dive into the world of Dragon Ball Z to experience what it means to live as Goku, the one they call Kakarot.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release on January 17, 2020. And if you pre-order now on Xbox One, you’ll get access to an additional sub-quest, a cooking item which gives your character additional stats, and also an early unlock to a training menu that allows you to fight Bonyu, a new character created by Akira Toriyama.
