Get ready for a brand-new Crash Bandicoot platforming extravaganza! On October 2, developer Toys for Bob will deliver the next chapter in this iconic series to Xbox with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
Crash is Back for a New Adventure – Same Bandicoot, New Tricks
Crash, Coco and friends will go across time and space to stop Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy, and other fiendish forces from taking over not only the world, but the entire multiverse.
While Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time maintains the core of what a Crash Bandicoot experience is – an intense and hilarious 3D platforming adventure defined by a certain marsupial’s brash attitude – Toys for Bob is also revitalizing it for the present-day Crash community.
That means a reimagined and updated art style, which you can see in the trailer and reveal screenshots. Crash and Coco still jump, spin, and wump around like they always do, but they’ve also learned a few new tricks since their last outing. Get ready to use the Quantum Masks – four powerful guardians of space and time that give our heroes ways to bend the rules of reality! Conquer dangerous obstacles using new tricks such as wall running, rail grinding, and rope swinging!
Mind Expanding: Neo Cortex Control and Bigger Boss Battles!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be the mad man in the eternal struggle between bad science and a Bandicoot? Now you’ll get your chance!
Initially, you can play as Crash and then Coco, and throughout the game you can push a button and swap between your preferred bandicoot. But now during your quest, you can take control of the fiendish Neo Cortex (as well as other familiar faces) during certain circumstances and gain an alternate perspective on how our bandicoot heroes are saving the world.
Boss battles are another area that Toys for Bob is looking to put their own spin on (pun intended). Ready to go up against a ‘weapon of mass percussion’? Then you may be prepared to challenge a host of enemies in a variety of new and inventive ways, upping the wackiness at every turn.
Pre-Order Now – Get it on Digital for Totally Tubular Skins
Purchasing the game digitally will grant you the Totally Tubular Skins (available at launch), which put Crash and Coco into some digs that show off their radical 90s roots.
